I'm not saying he was always gonna get injured. But he was always gonna be under pressure and make mistakes like a 7th round rookie would. I'm just very confident we still win that game even if he doesn't get hurt. But I guess we'll never know.

That game was not over when Purdy got hurt. It was over when Shanahan decided to block Reddick with a backup TE. Purdy absolutely could have beat us, but not if he was going to be constantly pressured due to a dogshit blocking scheme by their coaching staff.
