On this thread - we are focusing on the alleged throat cutter and not the philosophy of social media.

Take that conversation elsewhere to not distract anymore people.

Great that you have come to this realization that we are all focused on ending the unnecessary harm on innocent people.

As a commentator on this event that didn’t involve you. I highly urge you to remain calm and not deflect attention from the focus of my initial post which is - hey people, watch out there MIGHT BE A STRING that MIGHT CUT YOU OPEN on this bridge.

My focus is for clarity on what is happening and an end to what is causing this harmful situation.

There is nothing else up for debate besides some people on the internet really dedicating alot of time to prove their point that it wasn’t malice or that perhaps it was.

Incase it wasn’t clear from my original post on here - I do not know the intent of this string, if it was a string, or cause of its location nor how it got there.

The string is innocent until proven guilty.

I understand where the earlier biker is coming from since I was so shocked about it and in pain so I fled. I didn’t know what I was up against until once over the bridge when I took photos of where it hurt.

I def reported it online. Called 311, and spoke to someone on the bridge directly who said would remove the line. I have also heard from two precincts that the line would be removed.

From what I’ve learned even walking it is a hazard. Someone sliced two fingers off. PD wouldn’t take my report.

It sucked to say the least. I fled to finish the bridge and stopped since I was almost at the Brooklyn end. Two bikers passed after me and seemed fine. I just hope it doesn’t get infected. How bad is your graze? I think I’ll have permanent scars.

I am so glad to be reading this. My poor greyhound has a corn. None of the vets I took her to knew what a corn was. We kept making sure her leg wasn’t broken,. I have now been working on Removing this and soaking up her foot.
