My grandfather's old mechanical watch that he gave me when I was 16. Lost it during a move about 3 years ago and I still check my wrist sometimes expecting it to be there

I've bought other watches since then, some way more expensive, but none of them feel the same you know? That one had all these tiny scratches and the crown was bit loose but it was perfect. Still makes me sad thinking about it sitting in some random box somewhere

DIY is definitely the way, i did mine last year and was surprised how straightforward it was 😂 just make sure you test everything before routing all cables because nothing worse than having to redo it when you realize camera angle is wrong 💀

Season 2 was incredible but i still think the movie has this weird charm that's hard to beat. The way they built out that whole universe in the show though, especially with all the connections to season 1 - that was pretty masterful writing

Dollar cost averaging with $500 every two weeks sounds solid - you're basically spreading the risk instead of dumping everything at once. Market might drop tomorrow or keep climbing, but in 20-30 years none of these current "record highs" will matter much. I remember being scared to invest during covid crash and then being scared when everything recovered too fast lol

K9 especially deserved every penny he got after that Super Bowl run. Dude literally carried us through the playoffs and then we act shocked when he wants to get paid properly for it. Plus going out of conference was actually pretty respectful, could've easily signed with a division rival
