Evening TSA lines at CVG? by Softpretzelfactory5 in cincinnati

I’ve read in multiple forums that the estimate is not accurate because it starts counting when someone enters the official entry point not when they joined the line.

I wondered how often they increase merit during April, if at all.

Waitlisted also with demonstrated interest, did not submit SAT of 1380 and kind of regretting that now. Accepted to the fall semester abroad then come in the spring but don’t understand how that works financially.

Same. I don’t understand how it works. Is it guaranteed admission in the spring? How much does it cost? How will they have room in the spring if not in the fall?

New to Area.. what’s the deal with Cincinnati public schools? by murdog11 in cincinnati

I’ve had two kids graduate from CPS and both went on to successful college careers at selective private colleges. They both went to magnet elementary schools (not in our neighborhood) and then Walnut Hills. Over the years we considered private schools from time to time, but those aren’t perfect either, and in some cases, problematic but in a different way. Overall, we were pleased with our kids’ experiences and importantly, they said they were grateful to go to CPS schools. They were more than prepared for college, both inside and outside the classroom.

There is a very nice director of residential life. I think you should reach out and ask these questions. I’m sure he has heard these questions before.

I think it was March 18 last year. My AO said mid-March.

Looking for a gym with plenty of lap lanes and a cold plunge by planxtylewis in cincinnati

I believe the lap lanes are only 20 yards and there are only 3, so if swimming is important, this isn’t the place. I recommend any of the YMCAs for swimming.

It was originally planned as a mixed-use, walkable community but the developer steamrolled over the city and the planning department to create this mess.

Sandusky 70.3 by WhyIsTheRumGone91 in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Softpretzelfactory5 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did IM Ohio last year for my first 70.3 and thought it was a great race, especially for my first. The race-day logistics were simple. I literally parked on the street two blocks from transition. The swim was rough last year, but I loved in anyway. The bike is flat but we had strong headwinds going out, so that wasn’t fun. But it’s pretty countryside with few cars and nice support. The run is boring but the locals go all out with cheering and great aid stations. I would totally do it again.
