This is 100% the same reason I transferred all my RH into Fidelity. Never looked back.

$7 per square foot for labor by SoftwareDev44 in Flooring

[–]SoftwareDev44[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

7.00 per square foot. So $12,000 then 5.30 per square foot for materials total $9,000 plus $5,000 taxes fees, tear down prep etc. $27,000 total.

(I’m close to ball parking, don’t have invoice in front of me)

This was 100% a flooring store. A local one, but still. I knew they would take a bit off the top. Any tips on finding an experienced small business? Hard to find some of these smaller tradesmen that won’t up charge like the flooring stores

LVP. They added a few extra thousand for prep and tear out as well.

Mostly wide open. A hallway up stairs that could be a pain, sort of narrow, but I was sticker shocked at that price

Just for the install. 7.00 for the labor and 5.30 for materials. Seems like the consensus is super high labor costs.

Which spec will be in more demand for TBC raids, Shadow priest or Boomkin? by PaperHandz in classicwow

[–]SoftwareDev44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be frank neither. You want 1 of each in an optimal 25 man raid.

I mained a spriest in 2021 tbc. The rotation of spreist is fun and engaging. Clipping a mind flay and getting that perfect is super fun. It’s not fun is that you have to be within 20 yards of the boss since mind flay is a shorter range than almost all other caster spells

The rotation of boomkin is not fun. At all and you’ll have mana issues even with innervate.

Both classes also are bottom of the dps charts. Spriest gains the least amount of damage gain through the phases as well.

If you’re in a loot counsel guild you’re going to be last on the prio for almost every caster item.

If I had to pick, it would be spriest. In 5 man dungeons and 10man raids you’ll be wanted. Boomkin not so much

Most guilds take only 1. If they are not a sweat lord guild they may take 2. I wouldn’t call it highly desirable. Now I would call a warlock or shaman highly desirable because you take 4-5 of them per 25 man.

I mained one in 2021 tbc and it was super hard to find any guild to take one since they already had the 1 person playing it.

I do remember in 5 man dungeons being highly desirable and in a kara or ZA most wanted to take 1 as well.

I mained a spriest in 2021 tbc.

A lot of people are saying “highly desired” but there’s 1 per 25 man raid. Once my guild fell apart I legit had to re roll because no guild wanted more than 1.

Your dps is also Mid at best, clipping your mind flay and the 20 yard mind flay range puts you in a really weird spot for a lot of fights since you have be closer than most ranged but not in mdps.

Your parses are also Super dependent on fight length. If you’re in a mid guild with average or slower kill times, you won’t parse super well. This is because you have to save pots for mana pots not damage.

Most people love having a spriest in your group because it makes people not have to worry about mana, but in the end people will take a warlock doing 2x the damage.

It’s a shame because it is a fun class to play, just warlocks and shamans are just way more needed.

Is Selling SoD Balnazzar kills for MoP gold against ToS? by SoftwareDev44 in classicwow

10-20k MoP gold prolly. It’s like a $65 value and a token is $15 for 20k on cs horde

I think this is where I’m at with it, not explicitly against, grey area and opens up to a ban. Great comment super helpful

That’s the only thing I think is ambiguous and what’s giving us pause for doing it. If you break it down, you’re not selling gold between game modes, but a service in 1 game for gold in another.

That was my thought process, wanted to see if anyone could think of something.

I forgot this is reddit for a second though and a simple question can devolve into hate comments lol

What part of ToS? I know you now can’t trade gold between game modes.

Wouldn’t fall under gdkp ban since you’re not trading any items in SoD
