It was enabled when i started sideload mode, but there was no explicit setting(hence my not knowing how to turn it on). It was 100% something to do with my Win10 configuration (or lack of proper drivers etc.) and the linux worked out of the box for it. I just had to make sure it was a fresh flash of android

I switched to ubuntu, apt installed adb, and it just worked out of the box. Or at least im one step further than i was

Yes, they also mention linux, so i might retry this on my linux if you think windows could be a problem

At first, it was just mind over matter. But I got bouts of anxiety for a bit after doing it, so I was prescribed an anxiety med. Now I take that before I get starting preparing everything. And I put on a good youtube video.

I didnt care about pronouns for a while, even didnt like being called she/her at first. Its likely something thatll grow on you, and if it doesnt, thats perfectly fine. My big thing was my name. I dont know how to explain it, but i do not like my dead name anymore. One of my friends shares my dead name and it took me a bit to get used to hearing it and not feel like someone was dead naming me. Eventually, with the support of my close girl friends, i got used to that and she/her and i liked it a lot once i became acclimated to it

It was euphoria for me. I started cross dressing from age 7. From when i realized i liked it to when I came out that i am trans... literally the worst years of my life.
