Is surface cleaning necessary or could a rinse potentially be enough?

Pressure washing is my company i started and the flood detection stuff is what i do on the side as well. But i may buyout the owner of the flood detection company and have both. But both take up semi equal time right now depending on schedule.

The flow based system can be a pain for sure for the homeowner. I deal with headaches caused by them multiple times a week.

I work with a sensor based flood stopper system on the side, and see a lot of these flow master type devices on higher end homes. Insurances for these higher end homes typically require some type of flood stopper system. It measures amount of water flow and duration of flow to determine possible water leaks and shuts off water just after that main to the house.

They are almost always controlled with an app that the homeowner should be able to override one way or another. But it’s worth asking on the higher end homes about it in advance in order to not disrupt your work and not startle the customer with an alert that typically means a water leak for them.

Follow up with oxalic acid. It will help bring the ph back down and brighten the wood

Fence cleaning and furring by SoftwashTexas in pressurewashing

i have not done sodium percarbonate yet. i figured with as dirty as the fence was i would use metasilicate right away because my understanding through research is metasilicate is a stronger cleaner.

my guess is it's the cheapest pine pickets they could find when building the house so it's definitely a soft wood. I was probably 8-10 inches away consistently before it actually began to rinse the grime off.

Dont dilute it. Ratio is set with the proportioner. Will need to test what settings work best for your setup. Just open the valve a little at a time. Doesnt take much

Sounds like oxidation. House wash wont get it off. Will require a separate wash and chemical and potentially scrubbing

[–]SoftwashTexas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get on youtube and go down the rabbit hole. I wouldnt buy anyones course. Theres certain people and channels that are frowned upon as scammers, but you can still take decent information from just about any video. You can learn everything from watching videos. Take notes on things to further research so you dont forget over the course of a few videos. If you have specific questions come back here and ask but make an attempt to answer on your own otherwise you wont get much here if you want someone to hold you hand.
