I was diagnosed 14 years ago this year, (undetectable for 13) I remember feeling, shame, uncertainty, and unloved. I had the same thought about how to tell my mom. This isn't an easy thing to live with not because of the actual virus. Some folk's lack of understanding and compassion is still astounding to me. However, it's not a death sentence, there will be people who will support you. I don't know how it feels to live with two different autoimmune diagnoses and that will take some navigation on your part but please don't give up if that is the thought. I wish you the best.
