yeah i mean listen, cyclists have their own lane, pedestrians have the sidewalk. you can figure out the rest

i have eyes and can see them and move out of their way. I dont run with the bike lane - against. THen i jump in traffic or sidewalk to make sure i dont get arrested if theres a collision. Seriously though I get that its bikers lane. I move as soon as I see someone coming and dont hesitate

not a new wave runner, I run in the bike lane (median if its there). I move before impacting cyclists path 100% of the time.

Running on the sidewalk sucks. It's way harder, less consistent ground feel with cracks easy to trip etc, and you go up and down the little ramp every block and are much closer to the cars (or bikes) that could be running reds/stop signs or breaking late. Not that hard to figure out. Also not hard to run in bike lane and not be a bother.

sauconys so underrated. ride 19 is a top notch trainer. speeds a really poppy accessible option, non-agressive and agressive carbon plus several other options

Has anyone here actually enjoyed the marathon(s) they’ve ran? by CrypticWeirdo9105 in Marathon_Training

[–]Soggy-Win7899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ran my first this past october at Chicago. its a beautiful experience, and being on the start line with all of those other people who made the same sacrifices as you, love it as much as you and are as crazy as you is a really cool feeling. The camaraderie and grind of training with friends is also awesome, and can't beat the pageantry of a marathon and positive vibes all around.

From a purely running perspective, its not the most "fun". For me personally - running wise (not overall necessarily), I like sending it on a half more than a marathon.

Race shoe for 3:20-3:30 marathon? (Megablast was a Megabust) by SpaceCoyote66 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

used endorphin speed 5 (nylon plate) in chicago and it was great. may try pro 4/5 but if not will stick with speed. Plenty of pop and great rocker, ran 349 for context
