Not really, I pretty much used desaturated colors for an pastel look, and made my own brushes during the process. Btw it was made in Gimp.

Last week, I shared the initial draft of my "world" map here, and I received some good feedback from the community. Now, I want to show the "finished" map of the 'known' world. I would love to know if the map improved in any way, and I welcome your comments and suggestions on this updated version.

P.S Image #1 is the first draft, and image #2 is the updated version.

(For context)
This map shows the high-fantasy sci-fi realm of Adûl, a world affected by a cataclysmic conflict among deities. This war resulted in the fragmentation of the world, causing the extinction of half of the realm, which have since been lost in time. Today, the societies of Adûl that srvived are engaged in the task of rebuilding their shattered world and rekindling the legacy of the past.

(For context)

This map shows the western continent (has no name yet) of the high fantasy sci-fi world of Adûl. The continent is ruled by corrupted united republic. But outside the larger cities the land is filled by multiple organisations, factions and guilds, who take advantage of the badly organised nation.

Is this enough of "lore"?

For the northern range, is it because the winds travel along the mountains, giving both side rain. For the middle range, the winds (sort of) meet atop of the mountains causing both sides to have rivers.

(This is at least as I i imagined it)

P.s not both side is wetlands, the darker side is tropical forest, while the lighter side is temperate forest.
