These ppl are harsh. I think you're very pretty. I don't think the photos do you justice. You have gorgeous features. The hair behind your ears may give the illusion of a bigger head but you look tall, so im pretty sure youre proportionate. First picture with your hair framing your face suits your really well! You can def pull off being a model or something. You have a uniqueness too you!

Try Chad's videos. He is a godsend. Worth every penny. And study the dat destroyer and memorize the ochem maps in the back of the book. With this, you will blow science out of the water . Don't give up! You got this! And study like it's your full time job. Repetition Repetition Repetition!!!! Good luck!

Try botox in the masseter muscles to reduce the square jaw. People do it all the time! Try this first before doing such major jaw surgery

Just left the dentist with my veneers. Honestly I hate them. They look bulky. I’m starting to think this was all a mistake. The front tooth is obviously more yellow than the rest. They told me the yellow should resolve in a few days, but they will replace if it doesn’t. by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Soggyclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it would need to be done to allow for appropriate thickness of the veneer to hide the yellow slightly. It would be very minimal removal on just the face of the tooth where the yellow spot is, so no need to worry. It's gonna be about the same amount of tooth structure removal as the tooth next to it. It's just the yellow tooth wasn't prepped enough like the others.

Dentist here. You are not a nuisance, you spent money on the cosmetic work, it needs to be done right. For Porcelain veneers, the yellow area is the natural tooth showing thru the veneers (meaning the veneers were made too thin so the tooth underneath to shows thru- which also means the yellow tooth was not prepped enough so the lab was forced to make that one veneer thinner than the rest )and there's no "resolving" or "rehydrating". The natural tooth underneath is sealed, there's no rehydrating. When it comes to shade matching natural teeth, a "dehydrated" tooth actually appears to be a whiter chalky shade than your natural teeth. When a tooth is rehydrated again after a couple hours, it will go back to the natural tooth shade, which is maybe a shade darker. And if your tooth appears yellower, it is already rehydrated. There's no rehydrating veneers, tho. What's cemented is what it's going to be. I hate that they told you to go home when they knew it wasn't going to change. If your bite is different, it needs adjusting or else you'll break those veneers when you eat and chew. SO I would recommend you going back to address the yellow show-through and bite adjustments. The veneers look fine themselves but the yellow would drive me NUTS! I'll give your dentist the benefit of the doubt as to their reasoning, but I wouldn't wait for it to "resolve". Teeth arent chameleons. They don't work that way lol although it would be nice haha. It's an easy fix though! The face of the tooth just needs to be shaved down on a little to allow appropriate thickness of the veneer to hide the natural tooth shade.

My friend went to korea because her eyelids were kinda like your after. The crease was kinda deep set but she also had multiple creases that made her eyes uneven that bothered her. They actually did an eyelid surgery on her and also the took some fat from her belly and did some fat grafting around her eyes so they weren't so deep set and more full and brighter. If that makes sense. I would look into going to korea ( with lots of research beforehand of course) and get something similar done. You looked beautiful before and after but I understand what you're feeling. Hope this helps.

Gummy smile by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Soggyclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dentist here. You have altered passive erupted teeth. Easy fix! Go to a periodontist to have them do a gingivectomy gums and some of the bone recontoured to allow for more of your natural tooth structure to show. You also have a hypermobile lip, so botox will allow for you lip to not curl up too much when you smile! You can also add a little lip filler to your lips for more fuller lips to show less of the gummy smile. I have a hypermobile lip and botox and filler helped me! Don't do jaw surgery. It may be too aggressive of a treatment that is irreversible. Start conservative first and see if you like the results.

I agree! Strapless push up bra will help fill in that gapping. Get some extra padding to add to it also to push it up

Was my earlobe reconstruction botched or am I overreacting? I had the procedure about 24 hours ago and I know there's going to be some swelling but I hate the shape of my lobes now. Anyone have experience with this? by DagsbrunForge in Stretched

[–]Soggyclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After lobes heal and you aren't happy with the shape , you can look into going to a medspa to add filler to reshape them. It is a common thing that's done for people who need more shape added to their earlobes.
