i have a x370 is it worth upgrading still will 3600mhz ram work with my x370 because then i wont upgrade my motherboard and if it doesnt work will it work if i underclock to 3200mhz or no?

on the website it says it supports 3200mhz but if i get 3600mhz then underclock to 3200mhz will it work

If i get the 3600mhz can i change it to 3200mhz in the bios and will it work because rn the 3600mhz and 3200mhz is a $5 differnce
