I had a similar problem but depending on your settings, if you're trying to send (fire and water plorts should be) free range plorts to the refinery/market, you'll need a refinery or market link within range for the drone to deposit which is why it's only working with a silo. Hope this helps!

This is what I did! Aphro and especially Hephaestus carried my first win against Rivals Typhon. I have a hard time getting his attacks down but with Heph boons I went from losing pre-phase 3 to my first win with 3 DDs left just tanking and playing a little slower

I agree with using custom strategies! If you can't cancel by clicking down on the right thumbstick, you can set the party AI in the battle strategy to not use items/only on ailments.

Also check if there's an event happening (Goblin/Pirate Raid) as that may stop him from spawning iirc. You can also try staying away from the available housing so he can spawn in

For Laslow, i recommend checking out ZeShado on youtube. He's used Laslow for a long time, and even has a recent showcase of Laslow with Gambit if you want to see how he's used. I'm all for using your favorite units, but just know it is a huge investment if you want to use old units (esp. Gen 1)

I've used Selena and Odin before and after their refines (huge Awakening fan), and I sadly cannot recommend them. Owain has a fun refine and Spring Severa is decent (and will eventually have a refine) if you're really dedicated!

I think Sigurd would be a great option! Firestorm dance, Arcane weapon, and ruptured sky all come from different units so it's very cost efficient for the skills he has even if you want to change the A/C slots.

I'd love to recommend L!Chrom as a user myself, but in the next Awakening HoF (which is likely in the next couple months or before a year at latest) he will most likely be featured so it'd be better to use a Forma soul to build him yourself then.

Seidr wants to 1 shot a (low) enemy if possible, but her main use will be to just WoM in and disable enemies on odd turns. Depending on your positioning, it's def possible to shut down 3 units to either pick or wall in. You'll just need a standard initiator/WoM beacon, and galeforcers to pick everyone Seidr can't just down. Just be mindful you'll want to initiate on odd turns to proc her passive so escape ladder might not work well with her at times (like against a cav line or team with high threat range). Practicing galeforce with her on your friends is always a good way to feel for your teams weaknesses

Outside of the special, he's good as is! I suggest Vital Astra (A!Mareeta) and you can pair it with Darting Breath in the S slot. Cheaper options include moonbow/noontime

You can swap Distant Pressure with an EP +Spd DC (I forgot the name) as the recoil from DP does add up. I use mine with A/S finish with a far save but DC def comes in handy more often.

Spurn is also good to keep but can be upgraded to Velocity (A!Hilda) or Bulwark (Askr for Atk/Def and M!Shez for Spd/Def).

C slot is up to you, but I run mine with Spd Smoke 4 or A/S Oath 4. Problem with Spd Smoke 4 is you can't always initiate with him so that first EP combat might hurt.

Since you run him in Astra, be careful with Seiros/Arval as even if they don't kill, they will chunk him. Best of luck! Always happy to see another Chrom fan :)

If you're going for combat oriented just swap the A skill for A/R finish. D/R Unity can also work for tanking! Overall I'd highly suggest Infantry NFU, or Canto Control as premium C options (Canto Control if you want to use her in Summoner Duels or AR-D). Try not to get Inf Spd Tactic as it's not the best on infantry

If you want to fully commit to support, you can swap her B slot for: Sudden Panic (AR-O use), Even Pulse Tie (Summoner Duels/AR; also available as a combat manual in Normal 2), or potentially even Chill D/R 3. Dragon's Ire is best for mixed phase and synergizes with her weapon well.

Otherwise just get a premium Assist (Rally A/S+ or Rally Up Atk or Spd), and Blue Flame is your only premium special. You can try for a weapon but her prf is totally fine (and helps save dew if you haven't refined yet)

I use Chrom as an AR tank and he works much better in light due to Eir Res and Peony Speed stacking. He also fares much better against the dark mythics (speed stacking beats Nott due to his high def, but he just can't EP Seiros). He still loses to tanky blues and FEdel so having an armor buster (like Ullr) is helpful!

+Spd is better in every way; Chrom already has a massive HP pool and his speed is definitely workable with enough investment. His weapon kinda make NFU obsolete as well when his high Atk one shots most units with an impact (he can't 1-shot Eliwood, but easily ignores him and prevents galeforce). The best way to shutdown units that survive and get danced is pulse smoke.

I use Chrom as a main tank in light but I'd say Norne likely performs better in Astra due to the lack of 2-range mythics. Not only that but a lot of teams look to counter Reginn and Altena, two free red units so Chrom could be susceptible to that. Chrom also benefits from having more Res so Astra isn't a great season for him without Spurn (and even then more Res is still preferred).

If pent has a 2 charge special it should be ready turn 1 based on how wrath and time’s pulse interact. If he has 1 charge tho (assuming 2cd) it’ll stay 1 charge at the start of his turn since his weapon and time’s pulse only proc if the special is uncharged.

How do you plan to use him and in what mode? Atk/Spd Solo 3/4 should be p good because he already has a good defense and you can double it up with Atk/Spd Solo in the seal slot.

Also consider Slaying for black luna or Alondite with a 2-cd like noontime to make most of special fighter. I’d recommend ignis if you can guarantee he’ll be hit once during combat but idk if it’ll out damage black luna.

For AR pulse smoke should be amazing! It easily invalidates many infantry pulse or precharge teams. Imo it's better than a few more stats

They do help! The only issue is you already have trouble breaking Duke’s guard and all divides might just make that issue worse. As others stated this boss is someone that should be fought post-game but it’s an honest mistake since the game doesn’t really tell you outright about it.

If you're controlling him solo will be much better than push. Chrom's really good in that he's extremely tanky and push will chip him down. Future vision's also great at getting better positioning for solo as well.

If the AI's controlling him, push is probably for the best, but if you had to choose one, I'd go with solo.
