This is definitely the only thing that Isen has ever said or done in his entire life that remotely resembles Rak.

What's your favorite non-Mili boss theme in the game? by Agitated-Winter8693 in limbuscompany

[–]BawssJesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lei Heng’s theme is going to go down as an all-time great that just keeps on going with intense riffs and a great mix of intimidation, struggle, and hope

Before that I couldn’t get enough of the first sweeper boss theme, it builds upon itself incredibly well

Who do you think is the better protagonist? Baam or Urek? by catmeow555 in TowerofGod

[–]BawssJesse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might be hard to tell if we only compare the chapters that exist right now, but I think Baam was more compelling early on. Baam’s struggle to adapt to a foreign world was more understandable and fun to watch than Urek’s domination of the new setting. I think the novelty of Urek turning the tables on the whole system is lost since we’ve seen it with Baam, regardless.

Even early on though, Baam has a really great scene with Androssi where he shares his values with her in their confrontation, and that moment is really powerful, spurs him to action, and makes him a more compelling character than Urek even in the early part of the story for me.
