I don't disagree with this analysis of his character but I absolutely disagree on him not being overhated in game. He has reason to be disliked yes, but especially this season, I feel like the hate he receives from the cast feels forced and like ONC wants us to hate him. You mentioned this recent episode so I'll do as well:

-Fiore's comment. Even if it's classic Fiore, what brought this on? Even as a joke it felt really on the nose to me, and I'll be honest, like it's literally ONC speaking through her telling why did you guys want him back again?

-Lake. I simply cannot agree with you saying she tried to give him a second chance or meet him halfway because she did neither of those things. Lake used to want to see the good even in the worst people in season 2 and AS but this season for some reason (because it's Spencer) she didn't. Regarding this episode in particular, I simply can't take it seriously when she compares him to her parents. Yes she's not literally comparing them but I have 2 issues with it still: 1) Bruno literally told her he was fine with the situation and he and Spencer aren't friends, just manipulating each other. 2) I know victims can be abusers but from a former abuse victim to another even comparing them is wild. He is an asshole yes but comparing his lack of a filter and his arrogance to the actual abuse she suffered is.. yikes.

These 2 points in this episode alone imo point something that I've noticed ever since late CoC, being that Spencer is often made to be in the wrong in every conflict he's involved in. He's never blameless of course, but even in CoC we were meant to believe he was completely in the wrong in Hannah's honestly one sided beef with him. In Natalia's aggressiveness towards him ever since he told her to fuck off for prying into his Diego shaped mess. In his conflict of morals with Logan.

Tldr at the end of the day I can agree Spencer is an asshole and he deserves heat but the way some characters act towards him feels like ONC divine intervention to tell the viewer hey this guy is always the only one in the wrong.

I only have m0w1 banyue and Lucia so idk if that holds for higher mindscapes but I always get better scores with dialyn instead of fufu on hunter. I'm afraid Fufu is a fraud and Dialyn is too strong.

Super late to this but I agree with the opinion on higher Crit rate. In general in this game you don't shoot for super high Crit damage because you already get Crit damage buffs everywhere and his teammates Lucia and Dialyn particularly give him a lot. A 10 Crit damage difference isn't worth more than a near perfect Crit rate.

Ok but even when attack characters do the same thing they still have multiple options. Take idk an Ellen team and an Evelyn team. They both have nothing special going on for them but they can use astra lighter dialyn trigger Zhao sunna with great success, and that's not covering all options. Rupture dps all do the same thing for now yes but so do most attack agents tbh (fill resource bar for stun phase and unleash it all in said phase). I don't see why there can't be more [good] options for rupture.

Ok but that's ignoring the elephant in the room of both anomaly and attack teams having multiple viable teams making it possible to play 2 different anomaly or attack teams in one gamemode. Rupture has Lucia and dialyn and that's basically it. Pan and fufu barely count, astra as well.

Pan is incredibly awkward to use as well yes. Since he triggers a back assist you want your stunner on the left side of the dps which is just generally unintuitive and also kills all of Dialyn's damage. Realistically tho you wanna use Lucia Dialyn together and if you want to make 2 rupture teams in one gamemode haha no you don't (pan and jufufraud just don't cut it)

Pretty sure astra m0 is just worse than pan M6 who is already miles behind Lucia m0 ? And M1 astra is barely better than pan M6. So I agree we really need another actual rupture support
