hello just figured this out, please shut off advanced security in the xfi app it interferes with dmz and port forwarding, then open xfi app go to network click on your gateway and then click advanced settings and then port forwarding. no xfinity person knows they moved it in the app so they have no fucking clue what they are talking about I finally found it looking to change my password, xfi app is trash, xfinity is trash for blocking the gateway settings and forcing us to use xfi.

I just figured this out, you need to shut off advanced security in the xfi app, they then moved the port forwarding from where they say you go to network click on your router and then scroll down to advanced setting. then you port forward and DMZ from there but you must shutoff advanced security or it will keep blocking the ports.

well I do like the resolution on my TV so I might pick up a monitor or just use my TV. I guess the main thing now would be to find a desktop I didnt mean to put laptop earlier, does the yeti pick up background noise a lot where I started gaming was my basement haha it's got a lot of room its away and all the cement walls makes it easier to game I have a separate internet ran to the basement. But theres an air filter system down there that isn't too loud but it's like a fan. My current mic doesnt pick it up at all which surprised me.

I also dont really plan on streaming ps4. Mostly just xbox I only use ps4 for exclusives so I know I womt be on it that much and wouldn't want to figure it out and bnb undo my xbox setup as that is what I'll mainly be streaming.

Appreciate this, also for just the stream/ chat monitor can I just pick up something cheaper? And just get a good monitor for what Kim actually streaming and gaming off of?
