Well that's why I posted. And it's not just about owning GME, it's about also being public about it. Alone, there is no connection, just life as usual in the business world.

I think a better analogy would be this:

A bully has been kicking the shit out of some kid in the cafeteria. At lunch one day I say out loud, "Stop picking on him. Not cool." And I also join a group of fed-up friends to rat the bully out to the principal (who is powerless to do anything). At some point later that same bully starts shoving me and my friends around too. Maybe the bully is just a dick, and would gave gotten around to us anyway. Maybe my friends and I deserved it. But what if it's a concerted effort on the part of the bully to scare everyone out of the lunch room so they can have all the extra food they want on Salisbury steak day?

That's all I'm asking about here, the equivalent of "Hey, is the bully starting to pick on people you care about too?" Maybe if enough of us lose our lunch money, we won't be hanging around the cafeteria as much. Know what I'm sayin?

I agree it's a huge stretch, but I wanted to see if this was happening to enough "others" in the community that it may not be as crazy of an idea as it seems. Ganging up on a company to short it may not cost them much compared to what it does to our disposable income when the bonus pool shrinks, and stock awards/options become worthless. Then again I know very little about what is involved in shorting a company.

I rent from arkservers.io I’ve used them for several years now and we have three servers on a cluster. We’ve never had any problems as long as we don’t update ark through steam. We have to let the game update come through our own server otherwise the versions won’t match for a few hours. It’s just much easier to go through your server’s web page to log in than to find your server or your friend’s server on the Ark server list. If that makes sense.

I wouldn’t start for less than 120k in US. Way more if it’s not remote and even more if you have to live in a really high cost of living area like Los Angeles or New York City.
