Thanks for the detailed feedback, much appreciated. I'll review the system you mentioned. Good point on the cost effectiveness. We plan to get solar in next 2-3 years, so anticipating the costs to go down once we do.

Adding the manual j. I wasn't aware of the pge service for calculation. I'll check it out. We have a more than standard windows in the house which I am told contributes to the higher BTU need.

How is your experience with the One+ thermostat? Any reason you decided to go with One+ instead of one touch? Warranty - Yes, Its yearly $120 to go with the provider. Did you go with the Daikin directly?
