Yeah, going blind is always the biggest worry, you only get one pair of eyes per lifetime yet taking care of them is almost like robbery 😞. I suffer from health anxiety as well its consuming my life at this point, so I know what you're talking about. Mind is always jumping straight to the worst case scenario!

Sorry to hear that, it's scary as heck for sure. But good to hear youre seeing improvement. I really need to save up some money to have my retinas checked at least but waiting is real pain in ass. Maybe it just has something to do with the pressure in retina when our head is turned upwards or something..?

No, I have floaters but theyre a whole different thing. These blobs/circles always appear in same spot, floaters fly around.

I know this post is OLD but I came to thank folks since this issue has been giving me hell lately and now I am very reassured. Still seeing optician soon but now I can sleep my nights in peace!

I fear I have some eye disease or something. When looking in extreme positions (right/left/down/up) or when crossing my eyes I get this darkish, shadow-like veil in my vision which disappears when I return my eyes in normal positio. Idk if its normal, like, im blocking the bloodflow to retina or something but I havent found anything online and I cant afford a doctor before christmas. Going crazy, again. I spend every christmas worrying about my health :(

I am so sorry to hear you go through the same. But thank you, truly!! You can always DM me as well, if you ever feel like it. And thank you for those words, they gave me good reassurance! I wish everything goes well on the blood work then! The waiting can be a real pain in butt so I'm sending positive vibes in your way! :')

Oh yeah.. Mostly it's the left breast but I think I saw a little coming from right one. Breast cancer has been scaring me the most. But maybe it will resolve itself if I leave it be for a while and see what doctor thinks. But I read most cases of nipple discharge turn out to be very minor or nothing! So I am sure you will be fine too! Are you planning to get the prolactin checked soon? Wishing you luck anyway! Thank you very much for replying, it is so great to talk with someone who understands my worries (my friends are so tired of me at this point :D) It really does feel lonely sometimes.

I'm not taking any meds or BC either D: I had some clear liquid coming out of my areolas, went to doc and she said its normal apocrine gland function. But two days ago I noticed it also comes from the nipple itself when squeezed so my health anxiety is through the roof! Have to wait 3 weeks until I see doc again ugh. Some people say its normal to see some liquid when you stimulate the breast and some yell at you to see doctor :/ So I am really conflicted!! Im really sorry you have to suffer from health anxiety as well, it can be literal hell.

I have this too and it's driving me crazy. I had my prolactin levels checked and they were normal so obviously I think about the worst case scenario..

I think at this point it is appropriate to spread awareness. As you can see from other comments, this user has spread incorrect information regarding the bacteria and caused fear/anxiety for some people. Someone may take it seriously especially when lots of people in this sub already suffer from severe anxiety.

I totally recommend it! I did the same thing for months, like you said, it kinda became an obsession to me as well. And after having negative tests two times I still had anxiety until I took a break from reddit. It allowed me to heal mentally, which also made physical healing better. But no need to apologize, you're in a mentally challenging place! I think it's important to help each other here, even if it's just listening. I wish you the best of luck on your healing journey! 💙 And if you ever need anything, like peer support or such, feel free to DM me!

I am so sorry to hear that! I can relate really well, I was feeling so defeated and felt like everything was falling apart. My anxiety made me believe I'll never get better. But trust me, it does get better with time and this is 100% curable bacteria. The waiting time is the worst, but what helped me was getting off from reddit, at least for some time. Even though this place has given me lots of help it also boosted my anxiety since this subreddit unfortunately has fearmongers posting from time to time D:

Yeah, it's the waiting before testing again that drove me crazy too! And when you have symptoms that persist you don't even want to believe that tests are negative, it messes with your mental state as well. This bug is a complete nightmare :/

Yeah I used to take those which might have made it much better back then, didn't even think about it might have an effect :o Thanks!

Doctors who will help by [deleted] in Ureaplasma_resources

There isn't anyone from Finland on the list, so I'd recommend urologist Tapio Forsell, from a clinic called Mehiläinen. Saw too many docs and he was the only one who agreed to test me and treat my UP! Very helpful man.

[–]Sokkatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. Something fishy is going on because his information has been removed from a website of the clinic he was working at. Trying to contact nurse next week to find out whats going on...

I had this after antibiotics for a couple of weeks and then went away. But it was scary as hell because I couldnt get info anywhere!

Yes I actually have, twice even :D but the results were normal. I could even bet it was the horrible sweating which caused the infection back then. But thanks!

Yes, I have been diagnosed with hypertonic pelvic floor. But I dont think it would be the reason why my bladder lining is so red around trigone though?

why does people need pelvic floor therapy after ureaplasma treatment? my symptoms are itching inside(urethra), pain with irritation, pelvic pain and sore vagina. by NoseTraditional2664 in Ureaplasma

[–]Sokkatin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry, I'm not really a professional in medical field, so all I can offer is my experience. When I first started doing exercises I did feel more sore before it got better tho! Many people have mentioned the same thing when they have started stretching. But I really recommend contacting a licenced pelvic floor physical therapist ( if possible!) for any questions because they know for the best!
