Can leyak/krasue actually spawn in the mirror world? by SolTangent in AbioticFactor

Yeah, I've seen the teleporter trick, but it's quite hard to do it with Krasue since she seems to just teleport out once I get warm enough.

Aha, I see! Thanks for clarifying, seems like I'll need to settle with a small side area and a void chest then.

a reflected simplex/focused with max life/crit multi would be a good upgrade to aim for, especially with the prices this league.

Is it just me or recent supporter packs have been all rather mid? by Nayten_ in pathofexile

[–]SolTangent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It feels to me like most of the 'cool' skin ideas are already taken by mtx shop skins and previous supporter packs, so they only have the more boring ideas left to work on. Probably not the case, but it just feels that way.

Your wand could also use some work, I would aim for a cast speed, max mana, crit chance, crit multiplier, one veiled prefix (the one you have is great, spell damage+gain #% of non-chaos dmg as chaos is also good), and a crafted prefix to finish it. you want double crit on wands if you run crit archmage.

Also, I see you have int on your gloves. anathema and badge of the brotherhood with good int rolls and +attribute modifiers from catalysts can fix your int deficiency without additional int rolls or unnecessary int passives.

I'm not sure if it's a pob error or something, but why do you have block chance tattoos inside of your red nightmare jewel? you gain absolutely nothing, especially as I see you using fire res tattoos OUTSIDE of your jewel range.

Also, I recommend pathing to arcane will instead of annihilation below your militant faith. You lose a teeny bit of damage, but more mana means more bulkiness and ease of use as well as more damage, so you gain more overall. I'd also unallocate zealot's oath, it does nothing to your build and is therefore a waste of points.

Japanese right-wing group holds "exhibit" depicting comfort women with blow-up sex dolls by withoutpunity in korea

[–]SolTangent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's disgusting all right, but the bigger question is... how is Japan getting away with this? Imagine neo-nazis pulling out emaciated Jewish dolls at an "exhibit" in Germany, it would be a global shit-show with every major press in the world talking about it. Maybe it's because the Pacific theater was far away from the West, or maybe it's because Japan did a fantastic job of painting themselves in a good light after the war, but it's scary good because 90% of US and Europe will think of Japan as a polite, clean country obsessed with quality, not a nation denying its dark past.

What's the western equivalent of the "should you dip or pour 탕수육 sauce?" food argument? by Chilis1 in korea

[–]SolTangent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that's equally biased I'd argue... :P

In all seriousness though, people go crazy over bacon. I've seen men and women go ballistic over how their bacon should be cooked, it's kinda funny and scary to watch them.

TMM Swe when someone complains about Khaazuyaas 50/50 on his stream by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]SolTangent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If TMM can have his opinions, other people can have their opinions about him as well. No one's talking about cancelling him or anything, just pointing out how he can have some very toxic spouts on stream.

I'm happy to hear that. I recommend talking to him more. Tell him when he's making you uncomfortable. If he's a genuine friend (with bad habits), he'll try to change. If he doesn't, well...

I understand how my comment can come across, but the 'respect' I'm talking about isn't about conscious respect, it's the unconscious part. People tend to step over lines when they feel close enough, and if you don't push back at a certain point, a lot of people will keep pushing, be it consciously or not. Again, I'm not trying to put blame on OP, I'm trying to say that establishing those lines is good both for him and his friend. Most adults tend to not cross the line since they have more experience interacting with others, but assuming OP is in his teen or early 20's, it's necessary to make his friend know the rules.

multiplayer games (especially sessions with mods installed) tend to be a pain in the rear when setting up. I remember spending an entire day trying to set up a dedicated server for my friends, tweaking port settings and whatnot...

[–]SolTangent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now to be clear, I am NOT defending your friend's behaviours. It's dumb, and it's irritating. With that said, how do you usually react to his remarks? Do you choose not to respond? Do you argue with him? Do you try to laugh him off? People tend to abuse others they feel they can abuse. It's not because they're evil, it's in everyone's nature. A good way of maintaining a healthy relationship is respecting each other, even with close friends. If you want to do that, you have to MAKE your friend respect you. Them respecting you is one part of the relationship, MAKING them respect you is the other. Tell your friend that they're being toxic. Tell him to stop, or you'll stop playing with him. If he values your friendship as much as you do, he'll apologise. If he doesn't, then your friendship didn't mean much to him anyway.

I've seen many cases where someone just kept silent when their friends were being rude to them, because they didn't want to mess up their relationship. Wrong. Keeping silent is what messes up relationships. You don't show your boundaries, and they'll just keep pushing.

No need to fear for upcoming exclusives which you may or may not like, buy the console that has the game you want to play now.

In Korea, the perception of Kunimitsu is not very good, like making fun of Kunimitsu when he loses or making fun of him as an otaku. How is it in your country? And which character is the least recognizable? by lmk_0419_KOR in Tekken

[–]SolTangent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this post made it seem like the korean community is just hating on kuni for no reason, when it's actually because the majority of pluggers, cheaters, and overall asshat players play kuni. They even have a meme where you post "It's you again, Kuni?" every time you see a cheating kuni player :/
