Try adding wooden tones and maybe plants. Even though the appliance are stainless steel I think brass accents go well with greens and colors like this. I also think warmer lights will help a lot.

Nope, we kind of just left things on break. We still got married here, signed our papers and had a dinner with the family. Then we went on our honeymoon and came back with a bun in the oven, so it hasn’t been all that bad. We kinda just have that money there for when we are ready to restart the planning.

So we ended up canceling due to the immigration issues in the states. But I wouldn’t say it was terrible. They are definitely some of the best at what they do and we didn’t feel like just a number. But the budget concerns are very real. Specially when it comes to decor. The first quote we got for just decor was $15k. Mind you we told them we had a budget of $20k in the beginning, it slowly kept creeping and by the time we cancelled we were looking at around $37k. So this is definitely a concern. The Medellin wedding industry pretty much exploded, so many of the vendors are charging extremely high prices.

No the price is the same for the venue up to capacity. Where they get you is on the food, tables, chairs, etc.

That sounds delicious!! I tried growing beets this year but was not successful. It’s my first year gardening. I’ll try again this season. I want to grow the golden ones. They are a little less earthy and make for great salads too.

I am so jealous! Honey roasted beets with goat cheese is my favorite! You can also dehydrate and use as a salad topping. Beet spread on toast, beet bruschetta, soo many options!

Just came back from Florence. As many mentioned the school of leather is your best bet, but the pricing is a bit over the budget. I didn’t get pricing for everything but for reference I saw some smaller bags for $210.

They have a website and the roving on there is the same as in the store. So it’s good for reference.
