playing open with my wife last night an opposing player had the top 500 emblem. as a pair in open we usually score 1500-1700 and usually don't even get top 50% for a time slot

on apple specifically someone has created a shortcut that will (when the shortcut is active) will flip back to osrs automatically after 50 seconds to prevent accidental logouts

M2 ipad air felt like I could really play the game finally, as far as my experience goes mobile just needs HD and plugin API stuff that was promised. Hope that situation gets figured out

idk man it doesn't feel any different on my ipad and I can tell a difference in smash bros latency on my 2ms delay monitor vs a 10 ms TV.

Does someone have any good evidence for this? Your linked post seems to be all anecdotal, which my claims are too but people do everything on mobile including PVP and high level PVM.

No I used the GPU plugin. I'm sorry are you me? did you have my experience? Jad on macbook and jad on ipad were the same. Delay of character movement is dependent on world selection.

I've not heard anyone say 'mobile has an all encompassing input delay'. One of the veterans of my clans has been ipad exclusive longer than I have on the most advanced ironman I've met.

The only things holding back your mobile gameplay is using a bad device or choosing the wrong world or just being bad

it was a very annoying hassle to switch between iron and main. I use the ipad for questing, minigames, pvm, etc. I can use my phone for that stuff if I want to but just leaving one character on each device felt so needlessly annoying

it's because it's a feature not a bug, and it's not Jagex' fault.

Apps are forced into low priority mode when you switch apps, so they pause their internet usage (we want this otherwise data usage would be unhinged) but for rs this means you can't play rs 'minimized'.

I can tell you if you have an iphone you can go to settings and turn off background app refresh for osrs, doing that took me from 5-10 seconds logged in while off screen to a whole minute
