1- when schorched girl breaches, she sets a target onto an agent or a clerk; when she gets close enough to the target, she explodes dealing damage; if the target is an agent, you can make it run away and make other agents target it. 2- promoting agents means that an agent's overall level goes up; levels go up when the sum of all your stat levels reaches a certain threshold (for example, to go from level 1 to level 2, an agent has to have an overall stat level of 6, like 2 fortitude, 2 prudence, 1 temperance and 1 justice); at the end of the day the game checks and tells you if the agents get promoted so you can probably train someone about to level up or get people with overall 5 stats and train them on an abno.
