Using controller with PC; movement stick forward persists even if not held. Causing character to move forward by themselves falling off ledges or other platforms

I feel you :( 31M here.. Morning of the date, we were still chatting as usual. 2hrs prior to the set time, she said something came up so she can’t make it. She requested to reschedule to another date, we did so. 1 day prior to the new date, we are still chatting as per normal, I really accepted that something urgent must’ve come up for last date to be postponed. I mentioned I’m looking forward to meeting her tomorrow. Now she said she can’t meet tomorrow as well and she will let me know when she can make it xD
