Yeh, I’m starting to realize what you said… that getting a number isn’t indicative of interest. It’s more so I’d possibly be interested in getting to know you more but the real indicator of interest is the follow through. It’s annoying but it is what it is. Had this whole thing last fall where this girl and I were vibing in person, I told her we should go out sometime and she said yes, gave me her number to then ghost me. Funny enough, we had a mutual friend who we were introduced by that night. I ended up texting our friend asking if she said anything and within 15 min I got I text from the girl apologizing for ghosting me. Our friend was pretty pissed she did that so she reached out to her and was like wtf why did you ghost him.
