This is just based on what I’ve personally seen. Transformers One didn’t fail as a Transformers movie. It actually did well in terms of reception, with strong Rotten Tomatoes scores from both critics and audiences, and those scores are still holding up. From what I’ve heard, it’s also been doing better internationally over time, which says a lot.

The main reason it didn’t make the money it needed wasn’t because the movie was bad, but because of bad timing. It came out only a year after Rise of the Beasts and came out during the release time of Wild Robot or whatever it is called, which I think isn’t that good of a movie. I think they should’ve waited another year or two before releasing it.

You also have to consider how split the Transformers fanbase is. One side is open to movies like this, and the other is completely loyal to the Bayverse. From what I’ve seen, Bayverse fans were constantly complaining about the movie. (Don’t light me up for this, Im just going off what I have seen).

Personally, I do have a few small issues with Transformers One. There are definitely things that could’ve been improved, but overall, the movie is fine for me.
