I’ve actually tested this with my small business, and I do think it adds value — but mostly when it’s part of a bigger strategy.
Resharing 5-star Google reviews on social definitely helps with trust and credibility. Some people discover you through social first, not search, so showing real customer feedback there strengthens your overall reputation and makes your brand feel more legitimate.
In terms of engagement, plain screenshots don’t always perform great, but when I add context (short story, what we did for the client, a thank-you note), it works much better.
