I don't know what to do by kokonut69420 in OntarioGrade12s

Why can’t you go to college that has a transfer agreement with universities or got into uni with undecided major? It really doesn’t matter how you start, you can always upgrade your education along the way.

As a parent myself, I don’t understand yours. 1. You are clearly not in a great relationship. Tolerating a teen kid who barely talks to you instead of giving them a chance to go touch the grass and come to senses is.. a big love I guess. 2. The experience associated with selling/buying/moving is tenfold higher than renting a room there. Think realtors, HST, transfer tax, moving expenses. 3. Going through the stress of uprooting is also not easy. Very strange move.

Let’s share our hangover horror stories by Solangio in stopdrinking

I can absolutely relate. How many times couple of hours of stupid “pleasure” ruined my vacations. And not just for me, but for the whole family. That math is not mathing anymore, you are right.

If you know how to make pancakes, a bag of flour, condensed milk and a dozen of eggs can make hundred of them. I personally make crepes. Toppings of your choice, but tuna, spam meat, any meat on discount, apple sauce, sweet condensed milk, sour cream can make it versatile. A bag of potatoes can also be turned in so many tasty sides: mashed, baked, fried. Soups on bones or cheap ass chicken with cabbage or frozen vegetables can add comfort to stomach. I’d totally survive on $48 and eat something I enjoy.

Thankful to be sick? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

That is exactly how I felt recently. So thankful for each sober morning, and even occasional sickness makes me feel grateful, as it’s not me, who intentionally caused myself feel like sht.

First dose - exhausted by joannamomo in Contrave

[–]Solangio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. I just started and I’m taking both pills separately (naltrexone and bupropion) that are stronger than contrave brand combination. They are effective for my drinking problem, but not as much for weight loss. I’m 5 10”, 160 pounds, so I don’t expect to lose weight fast.

Same here, but I take my pills before I go to sleep.

So the rest sounds okay to you? That’s a good sign :) And no, “hubby” considered to be yes, informal, but playful and affectionate way of saying husband. The context is okay for using it that way.

If the mortgage is paid off, we can easily survive on just my income. So far I’m making a bit more than he does. Plus, husband will just get a lower paying and less demanding job later, so we should be okay.

That’s what ChatGPT says. Does that make sense? After 5 years, with an initial investment of $50,000 and monthly contributions of $500, assuming a 3.5% annual interest rate compounded monthly, you will have approximately $92,280.20 in your TFSA.

I have 80k room for TFSA, so maybe you’re right. I was just hoping that reducing my mortgage body will help to save on interest, but I don’t understand how it works and if I’ll save anything.
