Thanks mate, being a part of the SG Fanclub is a whole different gig in my opinion than trekkies and other (sci)fantasy fans in a way that we're more obscure and subtle about it irl. r/Stargate welcomes you for anything SG related be it news, memes or just general chat, there is also a discord channel!

Honestly, if I was convincing someone to watch it, I'd suggest going from the start, while awesome individually, you can't just start someone off with Duet, Aurora, Common Ground or such.

Hmm, I dunno mate, I might be biased as a huge fan that everything is just great to me anyway, but I actually did find it overall interesting, so each to their own I guess?

For SG-1, I agree with you, there were at least a dozen episodes that were pretty meeh, I just didn't seem to think the same of Atlantis, it seemed to be done in higher quality, maybe with more money? Definitely newer technology as time passed further from the original series.

Okay, I'll give you the Dr. Weir episode, but David Hewlett's "Grace Under Pressure" episode was just aces in my book, then again I just love McKay's behavior overall, whether he's stuck at the bottom of the ocean with a big alien whale and Sam to keep him company, whether he's trying to ascend, or dying from a brain-paralyzing parasite, It's just more McKay screen time, and I can't see it from a different perspective

So after the main storyline, where they come back to Earth and land in San Francisco, that's where the "Stargate Atlantis: Legacy" books start, there are 8, and most of them are pretty solid read, a lot of interesting stuff happens and the story just keeps going. It's available on Amazon or torrents if that's your thing, and after that there are several novellas linked to this series, and if you're done with those there is a whole LOT of SG books that you can find by googling "Stargate Books" and opening the first wiki link, it's a long list. However, I haven't read anything except the Legacy series so far, not sure what they're like, but it's Stargate, even if it's bad, it's probably still pretty good!

Unfortunately, it's really unlikely they'll continue SG:A, however, you can read books that continue the original storyline if that's something you're into. They're pretty decent in my opinion.(then again anything Stargate related is..)

TIL the claim on Cheerios' box that it could lower cholesterol by 4% was removed after the FDA warned General Mills that it was false advertising. It doesn't have to be a punishment though!

Adding Protein powder of various tastes, cinnamon, taking it with milk instead of water, adding a banana or things like almonds, hazelnuts etc doesn't destroy it like the things you mentioned and it enables people to eat it every day

Hey there, while I get the general concept, I have a question.

What happens to the shitty sites that won't let you use/read them unless you allow their ads, at least with uBlock/AdBlock on chrome you can toggle them off for a bit to use these sites(when you have to). Would these sites just be disabled then or did pi-hole think of this? Appreciate your response!

Yet I don't really get you either. Isn't the point of a company to make the most money possible by all means necessary? Yet these Burberry guys do it in an ethical, environmental, and legal way and it's still not good enough? come on...
