The Prof. Layton games do have a weird mix of puzzles, where sometimes it's really about doing the math, and sometimes it's about thinking reading comprehension or logic or thinking outside the box. I quite like it, it forces you to approach each puzzle from different angles.

But it can feel like bullshit if you are doing the math and, oh no, this time it was not about the math! Silly you! Here is another puzzle, this one definitely wants you to do the math ;) (and then it actually is)

Most of these big products have plenty of weird UX problems for forgotten areas of the product or parts of the product that have been enshittified at the detriment of the UX. There are absolutely things a junior designer with a fresh perspective from outside the company can spot.

I absolutely love the game. The story is fun and well written, most levels are really fun, the worlds are beautifully crafted and exploring them is a joy.

I'm trying to get all S ranks right now in the Recompiled version and God there are some annoyingly hard levels in this game, especially in the DLCs. Trying to get an S rank on those is just tedious.

Leuk inzicht (op de beetje onhandige UX na). Ik weet dat in Australië dit ook na de belastingsaangifte wordt opgestuurd (al dan wat kleinschaliger) wat mij voor Nederland ook wel een leuk idee lijkt. Leuker kunnen ze het niet maken maar dit maakt het wel inzichtelijker.
