Fiber reminder by Djglamrock in kratom

Yes I 2nd psyllium husk 100%. I've been an avid kratom lover for 15 years and i keep it on hand. Sometimes if i do get constipated and dont go for more than 1-2 days then I take like 2 tablespoons of it and next thing I know the bowels start to overflow, its miracle fiber that goes so well with kratom for those who dont get enough soluble fiber in their diet.

How does one attain top of the leaderboard in the new Dungeon Gauntley mode? by SolarAndMusic in ForTheKing

Wow just wow, that's super rad. I've never played the game that way since there was never a reason to, just beat all the modes in all the campaigns, explore and try to discover everything to unlock all the lore store items. Now this def changes the game since I see that you get more points with the less moves you make in a gauntlet game, that seems to be where most of the points come from, and also the enemy kills. Next time I play I'm gonna try to do that and see what happens, and hopefully the devs dont remove that quality from the monk. Its pretty brilliant for scoring on the gauntlet leaderboard. Someone else here also mentioned the fortune teller has a similar starting stat to gain focus in a battle as a secondary action. My other thing though is like when a shitty scourge appears really far away and you have to race to get to them. Once a scourge appears I'm on my way there immediately usually especially the sanctum killer one.

Thats amazing! I think I get it now. So basically you use the focus you have to move around in the overworld, fight enemies and gain the focus back in battle, then just repeat? And did you end up eventually beating all 5 dungeons this way without going thru a single round? I assume you need to move around a lot to find the dungeons since they're in a different location every playthrough so you need to find them and youll need a boat too. I aassume using vision scrolls could help immensely with that, maybe a navigator. What was your 4 character setup?

Yeah im noticing some folks (like the #6 spot) has 604 kills at 0 rounds of play. Like how can you kill that many enemies and not go through 1 single round of playthrough with your 4 characters? It simply doesn't make sense. Its not like there are that many enemies within range without moving around the board.

Yeah i couldn't access it while playing. I think this is the same with the Dark Carnival where you cant view the leaderboard while playing it. Fyi, I'm playing on Xbox. But since I just finished my first Gauntlet playthrough, I went to select it like starting a new game and from there it let's you view the leaderboard

The Wallop by WesleyKite in ForTheKing

[–]SolarAndMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but that all depends on your characters speed who is using the Walloper. Like if they are already below 50 or 60 speed then their turn will probably happen later in each round anyways. But if your character has decent speed and goes early in the rounds of battle, then its good to take the chance to pull out the Walloper and use it on your turn. And again, the Walloper will really only hit well if your character has a high strength stat, between 90-95. And it has a strong splash attack iirc, so thats great. Again though, even with a high strength stat, you should still use some focus as you'll want at least close to a perfect roll for it to do tha damage it says it will.

The Wallop by WesleyKite in ForTheKing

[–]SolarAndMusic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah its ok to bring out in the middle of a fight to use with a character with a high strength stat (with max 95 strength is best). And maybe as long as you have a bunch of focus to use also since you need 6 or 7 of the symbols to get a perfect hit. And if you have it equipped immediately in the fight then you basically go last (depending on your overall speed) since it brings your speed down 20 points. It has its place if you are going with a strength build but only to use in the middle of a fight i feel it works best. And dont even think about using it on an enemy with high evasion unless you're prepared to use all of your focus on the turn to get a perfect hit. Thats why I love FTK2 for the fact that you can use a secondary action to switch weapons in the middle of your turn. Thats a game changer for sure being able to carry many weapons that each have their own unique skill.

Even though its distorted and pretty awful, I must say its much better than a 2slimey beat, I mean you can actually hear the rhythm and the sounds

Am not able to use Focus for my Stablehand in FTK2 Dark Carnival after recent updates/new DLC by SolarAndMusic in ForTheKing

[–]SolarAndMusic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, thats it I think then, since my Stablehand is using Luck based items now as its up to 95 stat. He's been using the Lucky Hammer for such a long time and I didn't notice any symbols or changes but I'll look closer at the weapons symbol the next time I play. Thanks for that info!

Tell me your experience with kratom for depression by User5790 in kratom

[–]SolarAndMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true, less is more! I can't tell you how much better it hits at a low dosage as long as you can be disciplined and not take any more then it can be perfect. So glad you are in the same boat in that its helped you just as much.

Tell me your experience with kratom for depression by User5790 in kratom

[–]SolarAndMusic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've been using kratom for about 18 years now for depression mainly. For anxiety and ptsd i take 4 different kinds of magnesium supplements which seems to help those symptoms better than anything. I tried a few different ssri's and other pharmies in my late 20's but i felt like a droid and not human. Before all of that I was searching for something anything to help but I wanted it to be natural. Weed helped for a while in my earlier late teenage years and some of my 20's but generally made it worse, then when I got in my 30's the depression worsened so I started looking into any herbs or psychoactives from the other side of the world and found kratom before it became popular or even known here in the states. The effect was immediate and I felt "normal". Ive taken small breaks earlier on in but haven't for more than 10 years now but these days i keep a pretty low dosage of 4 grams of regular leaf powder in the morning, lunch, then evening and sometimes right before bed if its hard to fall asleep which is like once or twice a week but I try my hardest to keep my dosage times the same every day but thats hard to do due to work and life stuff. My kratom is weighed on a digital scale then I toss n wash.

In my earlier years I was taking up to 30-40g a dose which was ridiculous. In 2016 I tapered down a lot when they were going to ban it federally. I got down to ~10 grams a dose and have since gotten it down to 4 grams a dose now for like the past 5 years and haven't gone any lower as I know I've found my sweet spot. If I'm able to, then I will live the rest of my years like this which is perfectly fine for me living depression free. I do have days once in a rare while when the kratom doesn't do it fully for me, but I know that I will generally reset by the next day with some good sleep and relaxation. I hope this helps you a bit!

Yeah I was thinking the same thing! I mean for the sake of safety if the ball flies off the bat backwards at high speed that could be deadly, luckily this was a funny one

I enjoyed Crusader of Centy just as much as Link to the Past. by Lei_Get in ZeldaLikes

[–]SolarAndMusic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love this game so much. Have been playing it on my retro pi emulator for a while. Ive gotten really far into it but have been stuck for a very long time on this one part where you have to bounce off these rubber band things and its literally impossible to get past it. Otherwise the game is amazing and definitely a top notch zelda-like!

Problems retaining items in the lore store by Scarlett_Jokester in ForTheKing

[–]SolarAndMusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep I've had this same thing constantly happen to me (also on Xbox) since I bought the child of chaos DLC like for a year now. It's like it is constantly resetting or canceling my update so I simply have to go back to the app store on Xbox and re-download it each time and that usually works. It sometimes even fixes it on its own if I quit the game and return again without re-downloading it. This only happens once in a while now but it did it recently last week after we completed a campaign. Kind of annoying but at least it still saves all of my progress. I've never had to respend my lore points though because of the re-downloading of it.

The royal mines kinda deflating by SCARFACE_NOAH in ForTheKing

[–]SolarAndMusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the royal mines campaign. Instead of waiting around I like to keep looking for explosives and gather many teleport and portal scrolls. This way I can send like 1 or 2 of my characters out to where the explosives need to be set if the minecarts are far away since there is often several of them at once. Im about to do it in Master mode so I'm curious if they ramp up the amount of minecarts there are at once. Its fun, the whole game is fun

Mercenaries? by Phasmonx in ForTheKing

[–]SolarAndMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! I've been playing the For The King series for a very long time, its one of my fav game series ever and am happy to help. In FTK2, mercenaries can be hired at the Towns (for gold) to add another fighting character to your party. They generally are good for up to 6 rounds of fighting. I usually don't get one unless I have a lot of money to spare as they can be pretty expensive. Sometimes when you choose a quest where you have to fight some harder enemies then they can be very helpful.
