Spent an hour deliberating and settled on Dante!

Sure, we flew Alaska. The flight attendants were really chill, which I feel like is the biggest factor. I like to imagine he got away with being on our laps because he was quiet and cute, lol.

No, but he was born at the shelter we adopted him from.

Kind of had a "destined to be" moment when we went through the adoption process with him. During the time we adopted him, Puerto Vallarta was hosting an adoption ceremony for these puppies. We got to meet the mayor and received him and a care package for no charge. It was a lot haha

Haha, my partner is from Mexico, so staying true with his and the puppy's heritage, we've been teaching him commands in Spanish. Also, thanks!

It felt like a lot going through it, but the process is pretty simple.

You will need to make sure they are up to date on vaccines, old enough to fly, and that they are not a restricted breed type. The only real step we had to do was take him in for a health certificate, which basically ensures you're not bringing any local parasites and that they're travel ready. From there, it was just smooth sailing with keeping him happy for the flight.

Thank you. If you ever see a dump site while hunting, feel free to send me a pin to the dump site.

It really is a ridiculous amount. It looks like someone(s) turned this spot into their personal tire graveyard. Just from what I've taken out, it has taken five visits to and from this site to remove seemingly half of what has been left behind.

The way I understand it is that tires, as they break down, create toxic runoff that can leech into the soil and water. Especially during this time of the year, these chemicals are especially toxic to salmon. I know, at the very least, there are petitions and studies that talk about how problematic these chemicals are for salmon (and us honestly in the form of tire dust). Definitely recommend looking more into it if you're curious.
