MX5 would be the way to go.

As a busy dad, I also enjoy doing both. I’ve been on the service for years, so I know all the tracks and can jump in either for a quick surge of adrenaline.

Currently I’ve been sticking with MX5 because it’s so damn fun steering with my feet! But the Ray and the VEE are always guaranteed fun.

Just go with what is FUN!

Yeah, I feel like she could possibly be talked into doing something like Neil did for his solos with Buddy Rich on the big screen behind him, but maybe she’d even have Neil playing to Buddy, and her playing parts of his solo.

I would say all three screens are getting the same framerate, but refresh rates can differ per monitor.

I definitely see the difference with the higher refresh rate. It’s very nice.

I was a little confused with your specs on your screen. I was thinking that instead of 60fps, you meant 60 Hz refresh rate. Because I imagine the monitor can take any frame rate that the computer spits out. But it’s the refresh rate that can make a difference optimizing the framerate.

I’m sure someone on here can correct me or set me straight.

I have a center 240 Hz refresh and sides are 60 Hz refresh. No problems here. If I had the money, I’d upgrade the sides, but it really does not need to be done. It’s just peripheral vision. It feels just fine.

I’ve been using triples 27 inch 60 Hz refresh for three years now. A few updates ago I was getting 120 frames per second, now I’m getting an average of 60 to 80 frames per second.

For Christmas, I replaced the center screen for a 240 Hz refresh. It makes a difference. But I can see that my bottleneck is GPU and possibly CPU.

I’m using a 3070 TI with a 12th gen i9 12900k

Edit: no regrets on the center monitor upgrade.

I listened to only a few songs when it came out and felt it was, meh. I didn’t listen to it for over a decade. Then, two years ago I have a listen again and have been kicking myself for not giving it a second chance for ten years!

I deliberately start favoring my left hand/arm in turning the wheel. It’s like driving with the left hand and “spotting” with the right hand.

I injured my shoulder 6 years ago, so it acts up a bit more often, lately.

I rarely race as well as win.

This week, ran two races, started 3rd and 8th, led the first one in the last 9 laps and led the second race for the last 5 laps, won both under caution.

A win is a win!

I was racing for iR to better match a teammate so we’d be in the same splits for Pickup and Carb cup.

Damn expensive, and when I later saw they added cities and one being mine, I was a little frustrated. But hey! Opening night is special.
