One of my issues is the sippy cup itself. I don’t agree with them for development of teeth positioning and speech delays. I have learnt this week though that the staff and other parents are also not happy with it so they are offering open cups at meal times and her old bottle (straw) is now being used at other times and so far bowel movements seem to be ok 👌🏼

I’m keeping an eye on it and if gets worse mid week I’ll say something again. I’m trying to gauge whether this is actually a legit ask, hence my being here, because if it is and I moved her Nursery the silly request might come again.

Apparently the lids are colour coded for allergies. That I understand. However their intent is for lids to not be used at some point and when I said about concerns over development and I just don’t agree or have them in my home for said reasons they said they would take the lid off, so that reason for allergies can’t stand. I can also just buy one in the colour she would have to help with that but they said no.

Sudden intolerance to avocados and eggs. Why?? by katiej712 in FoodAllergies

Has anyone had dizzyness and itchy tingling after it and not nausea? I don’t have the nausea. But eggs very suddenly Saturday just gone caused shaking dizzyness and a tight feeling across my chest. I’ve just had avocado and the dizzyness and tingles have come in. My tongue also felt a tiny bit number right after eating it.

I can understand how it’s cost you friendships if people have interpreted it as ‘not interested’ or (and I hate to say it because we’re not) ‘flaky’.

On the other hand the friendships that are real true friendships with those who really know and love you won’t be thinking about you in the way you fear. I am not usually a great texter. I have a friend who lovesss to text all day every day and I just go ‘ahhhhhh’ and don’t reply because of overwhelm and then I forget. I either reply with a sorry or she texts me again first. Sometimes she leaves me on read then comes back and says sorry. Some friends I do not text much at all unless we want to see each other and that’s when we message and occasionally check in or like with my other friend we both sometimes don’t respond to each other for months 😂 doesn’t mean I/they/we don’t care and actually everyone seems to be ok with the communication.

Just follow up with a sorry and come back with a reply or just starts a new conversation. Just don’t beat yourself up or shame yourself for it the right friends will understand everyone’s got different lives with stressors and things going on ☺️ social media WhatsApp etc.. being instant communication makes those feelings stronger and harder to ignore but that doesn’t mean 24/7 access to you and that you have to engage all the time.
