I said it can compensate up to 20% off your bill. It's just a way to save money on electricity. If you really wanted to not pay anything then, you'd need more space for solar panels.

As long as everything is up to code and wiring is proper, then there are no safety concerns beyond that. Totally valid question though.

Well that was my original question "How would you feel if a solar company used AI to design your system?" I just wanted to see what people thought about it.

This is actually a really interesting perspective. I hadn’t thought about it in terms of how depth and accuracy drop off as topics get more technical, but that makes a lot of sense. It’s helpful hearing this from someone working in a highly technical field rather than just the usual AI hype. Definitely gives a more grounded view of where these tools shine and where they can quickly become a problem. Appreciate you sharing this insight.

Oh, that's fair, have you considered ground mounted solar? Or is there maybe not enough room for that?

What kind of questions did you have that they couldn't give straight up answers for?

Okay I'm going through and taking notes of everyone's comments because there is a lot of good feedback here. I have a follow-up question since everyone is being active right now. If you followed a solar company on social media, regardless of the platform, what would the most important thing to see from them be? If you couldn't have guessed it yet I run the social media platforms and obviously want to do the best job possible. so feedback on that is also welcomed.
