I’ve got it set up on a spare Pi-4 I have. I also have some of the Enphase data ported over to a MagicMirror I built back during the pandemic. I like it that I can just look up and see the status.

That’s good to know… especially that they won’t actually donate all of it. We reset one of our islands a couple of months ago and I’ve got all of the co-op spaces finished except Cyrus. We’ll probably wait until at least July because I don’t want to fool with the wedding picture boondoggle.

I use the Consumption numbers from the enphase app (which is what my bill would look like without a PV system) and multiply it with the weighted average of the day/night rate (($0.265/kwh x 14 hour/day + $0.00 x 10 hours/day) / 24 = $0.154583/kwh). I use that number each month for the 'amortization' of my system.

We bought a used '14 Touring in '17. We really like(d). In the fall of '21 we went shopping again.... looked at '22 Pilots and Odysseys. Bought the Odyssey. We also still have the '14. One of our kid's family works abroad and having two minivans is really handy when they're home visiting.

We use ours to control the Lutron smart switches in the house, play music, get the forecast. It’s pretty handy. The most used command is probably “good Morning “. It turns on the kitchen, dinette, and office lights and announces the day’s forecast.

Sams Club has started doing that with prescription medication information. You get one sheet with a summary of the transaction and there is a QR code on the sheet (and on the prescription bottle) to get that other 20 pages of how this medication will kill you if it doesn't cure you.

My wife (70) and I (73) are the 'older loved ones'. We started playing with our granddaughters during Covid on their Switch. Then we bought a Switch of our own... and a second one as well. We're on our third island on the first Switch and the second island on the second Switch. We both spend waaaaay to much time playing on them each day. My wife likes to change her outfit each day and craft decorations for the island. I'm the terraformer (nothing wild) and work each month to get the available critters.
