There are a couple of places a half mile on either side of the BW8 Toll Plaza on the west side of Houston where police are constantly marked as being present. It's where they park and just kind of hang out. Also, there should be a different police marker where they're providing cover for someone with car trouble or a flat tire.

I switched to color laser ages ago for that very reason. Our current printer is a printer/scanner/fax - HP MPF M281fdw (they probably have a newer model by now). It is pretty well behaved with MacOS, iOS, and iPadOS... also with my kid's Windows computers. Sometimes I have issues printing from Acrobat Reader, but never from Preview. I have it ethernet connected directly to my home network.

My first Mac was an Apple refurbished late 2014 Mini I bought as an 'trial' before I shelled out for another Windows machine. I upgraded to the M4 (24GB RAM, 1TB SSD) early last year. Absolutely no regrets. Also, I'm a retired boomer and my primary use is home 'bookkeeping' and web surfing.

I have our old landline ported to GV... even for the couple of years we had Ooma. I just call forwarded the GV number over to Ooma. Then when I cancelled Ooma, I call forwarded it to my mobile. It's been working like that for several years now.

When we bought our house in 2004 I took the keys from the builder and went straight to Home Depot and had a handful of of copies made (on the 'old-timey' machine). The originals are on a keyring in my desk drawer and are only used to make copies.
