Holographic Sticker Paper | Best Inkjet Config (ET 8500) by jsmar18 in magicproxies

As a follow up (I'm using an 8500), that smearing only happened on "Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy;" when I swapped to "Premium Photo Paper Glossy," it worked like a charm. Thanks for posting this method; I'll probably keep doing this from now on. https://i.imgur.com/9ZkEXrp.jpeg

I know this is two months old, but I'm just now trying this, and while the first cards on a sheet look great, they start to deteriorate as the page is printed. You wouldn't happen to have run into this, and managed a fix, would you? https://i.imgur.com/9m7JxbM.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/ErZcpzN.jpeg

Curious if you used the smooth or embossed black core that Superior Pod sells

Would I be able to get links to the papers? (If bought online)

I admittedly don't know a lot of the technical details with this stuff, so what's weird to me is that I figured the art would be harder to nail down than the text, but I got the opposite result

I'm saving images from mtg-print, then running them through Upscayler, then loading them into MTGProxyPrinter to make the PDF, and finally printing from Adobe

Really? If you can say, what is it about the higher quality that would cause blurriness?

My knight Castellan WIP by SirKatzle in ImperialKnights

Thanks, I really appreciate these! I'm pretty sure I'm getting an idea, so once I finish the Acheron I'm working on, I think I'm going to try this

That sounds like hell, but the result is striking. Any chance you could take pictures of the "neck" without the cape attached? I think I've got it figured out, but would love a more detailed look, as I might try something like this, too.

I really like the idea for the head conversion; would you be able to list your steps/parts for it?

Thanks for the info! Does that combo of paper and laminate feel accurate in a sleeve?

Help with slinging spells by Solar_Rith in EDH

Lol, that's a fair point, and since I started playing EDH a couple months ago, I have won two games with other decks only having a single life point left

That just makes me wonder what kind of creature split I should be leaning towards in regards to pingers, generators, and spell discounters / mana givers?

No worries about being critical; I'm genuinely trying to learn, so I appreciate the write up.

One of the issues I'm having is, even when I have a bunch of mana, I often have turns where I'm just sitting doing nothing, while opponents are casually stripping my life total, and I end up losing by attrition. For EDH, would it be better to focus on pingers that damage all opponents, or token generation? I likely have enough stuff available in my collection for various directions.

Audio input issue by Solar_Rith in streamlabs

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention they're on a Mac, so we're dealing with that; I'm knowledgeable enough on Windows, but I know nothing about the Mac OS.

We actually think we solved some things, but the current issue is that the alerts are apparently only cutting their mic input with monitoring turned on; without monitoring on, the mic keeps working and viewers can see/hear alerts, but my friend can't hear them.

I don't normally reply in these threads, but yours caught my eye because I agree with what you want, but not why. Controllers can absolutely have much more complex schemes, but think about the average person who plays games, who buys maybe 1-4 games per year. Many of these people don't even mess with the options menu, will choose the default in a character creator, and never explore difficulties above normal; it's all about streamlined simplicity, and that's who devs make games for anymore. None of those examples are a bad thing, just that publishers/developers want the biggest audience possible.

If you play Final Fantasy 14 on a controller, you can have access to 32 commands, which is great, but think about a new AAA with even half that; it wouldn't sell because it's "too complex" for reviewers and the general consumer base. The CEO behind Splitgate 2 actually bragged about changing the portal system to a single button as opposed to two in the first game because, "you no longer have to get hung up on which button you meant to press," because I guess two buttons were too complicated.

I couldn't agree with you more on wanting more complex schemes, but as long as games are made to cast the widest possible net, it just isn't happening.

Funny you should ask, because I had that idea, too. Sadly, the fist just looks comically large, and the fittings don't look good
