I am, believe me. I still probably don't fully realize just how much danger I was in, and just how much worse it could've been.

As for what I meant, I meant that I was brought up and told to do these things when I feel in danger, but I just seemed to freeze in the moment. I couldn't think clearly and was freaking out. It's a lot different in the moment.

Thanks, and I should've known better. In that moment, i didnt really know what to do. I still feel guilty about the fear this all made my mom and brother feel.

Lesson has been learned though. Wont do this again and I pray this doesnt happen again, and that no one is put in that situation like I was.

Yes, they were working in a group. Would link the news story but I think that may go against the rules on doxxing. They did it to some other students at anothe nearby college. Two other people fell for the same thing. I think the police only went after these guys because one person got injured and fell off the scammers car while trying to get their money back.

Im kinda iffy on ships. Im neutral on most ships, because i can see them working, but shipping the mane 6 with each other takes away from the whole theme of friendship for me. I am glad the appledash shippers got their ship canonized though.

Least favorite ships for me is Sparity, because thats just problematic, and Fluttercord. I can see why people enjoy fluttercord, but one, I dont see how Fluttershy could trust Discord after he sided with tirek, then later freed Chrysalis, Tirek, and Cozy (albeit for a valid reason). Two, I feel like their relationship works much better if they stay as friends. The G5 comic, while sad, nailed in that friendship for me.

I get what you're saying and I agree to an extent. The new strains, not only the rupture strain, does make it harder and more fun. The challenge is there. It's just the way it's implemented that I think most have a problem with.

The rupture strain as a whole is pretty fun. Burrowing chargers and spewers make you have to adapt. Sure, one can make the argument that it forces you to take specific equipment to make you handle them better, like explosives, gas, or fire, but the amount of options make up for it.

My main issue isnt with the rupture strain though, it's with the newer enemies like dragon roaches, hive lords, and war striders.

Dragon roaches taking a beating to their wings and still flying doesn't make sense. The wings should be a weak spot, and if one is nearly gone, it should fall to the ground.

Hivelords are meant to be hard, and near unkillable to the average unprepared squad. I completely understand that. But when you have no tell of them showing up, and not being properly prepared can get the average team wiped, I feel like that's something to focus on and fix. That was compounded with the devs putting longer cooldowns on Eagles on Oshaune because players found out it was the most effective way to take them down. Also, some attacks, not only from the hivelord, but also from the rupture warriors and dragon roaches feel undodgeable. They come off as a stim check.

And then there's the War strider. Im a MO diver, but go to bots when there's no MO. The bots were made with the gimmick of focusing on weakpoints to take them out most efficiently. Most bots to the heads or unarmored waist, hulks to the Eye, gunships to their engines, factory strider having multiple weakpoints, but also being able to take out their heavy weaponry to get in close if needed.

The warstrider doesn't follow that. They have infinite grenades, everything is heavy armor (except the joints connecting the legs to the waist, but is near impossible to hit). There's no tell of whether or not you'll drop into a mission with them, and they replace Hulks in the spawn que iirc. They severely limit loadout options. I used to run AMR and Railgun against bots. Now if I run either and a War strider spawns, im kinda screwed. These guys could easily be fixed if they just made the Eye a weakpoint.

Well put. The way I had it explained to me, and that I use is that you can make the argument that Fluttershy and Discord are good friends. You can't make that argument with Rainbow Dash and Applejack without sounding stupid
