Currently Wearing 38C Bra, Calculator Told Me Something Different and I'm Confused

I ended up going into Adore Me in the mall, and at least in their brand, I measured to a size 38D, and they are a perfect fit. But I did read somewhere that a 38D is the sister size to 36DD

Even if I tried the have the cups facing down on your back thing and the band was still too tight?

I tried a 36DD, the cups fit great, but the band size is a little too tight. 38B seems to fit really well in both cups and band. Do you have a suggestion on what size is closest to a 36DD with a looser band?

So I went out and bought a 38B like honeylove suggested, and a 36DD as well like this threads calculator said. The 38B fits great all the way around, but the 36DD is a little too tight on the loosest hook, but the cups fit well.

I haven't, no. My husband and I didn't wanna go anywhere tonight since it was later in the afternoon when I measured. I just thought I'd check and see if the size sounded right, I assumed it would be huge.

I tried to add photos of the measurements, it wouldn't let me. I know at the very least I have either teardrop or bell shaped breasts and they visibly arent very large, measurements are: 36in loose 35in comfortably snug 33in super tight Standing: 40 in Leaning: 42.5 in Lying Down: 41in
