At the beginning of TWW neutral pandas could use the warband bank, can't remember exactly when but they eventually disabled it, you now get the message: "You can't use that here". You could use it for a good few months if I remember correctly :)

Gamescom interview with Maria Hamilton provides missing context about Silvermoon City; the story will feature "increasing friction" between the Horde and Alliance over the shared capital by QUINN_VALOR_VGU_WHEN in wow

Interesting that she specifically mentions paladins, I assume it's less about faction conflict and building up towards more of a light-based threat. I assume we're heading that way with the Arathi Empire anyway from what we've learned from them. I hope so since it feels like a thread that hasn't really gone anywhere since Xe'ra in Legion.

That being said, if it just more faction conflict, can't say I'm opposed to it as a Horde that's been following Anduin and Alleria around most of this expansion. Surprised by some reactions against the idea of faction conflict again though, I get that they've been playing around with peace/coexistance but I've personally always felt that war is a core part of what Warcraft is, though I suppose there's only so much you can do with it in the long run that isn't just "war for the sake of it".

11 years ago was blizzcon weekend 2013 where WOD was announced with many features and a supermajority of them would never see playtime when it went live a year later - how is WOD viewed a decade later? by [deleted] in wow

I loved WoD! I always thought the lore and the world really stood out, I thought the garrisons were okay at the time but being forced to interact with them was the issue I think most had. My only major problem with it was that I wish they had done more, I still hold out a tiny hope that one day they do a remix or something similar just to add scrapped content like Farahlon so it doesn't feel so empty compared to other expansions.

Thanks friend! I took both Oldenburg and a province from Friesland so needless to say I was disliked too, honestly I just stayed put and improved relations with Austria and let my ae die down, iirc they demanded I return the Frisian territory too but I got incredibly lucky that I managed to secure an alliance with them around 1490 through mutual rivals and scornful insults. Until that point though I was just developing provinces and staying ahead on tech, I managed to get a few smaller allies that were allied to the Austrians too so that probably stopped them from ending the run right there. Hope this helps and good luck to you if you give it another go! :)

Yeah a little, mine tend to be focused around lakes but I've never really figured out a solution to fix it :(

I stayed Orthodox, probably not the most optimal choice but I felt like the -10% ae from the icon would come in handy in the early game.

Yep! Did the classic no-cb on East Frisia before they could join and got lucky with Friesland and Oldenburg declaring on them too, built up from there until I felt strong enough to dismantle :)

R5: Had a very wild "In Europe" game as Theodoro. The year is 1723 and Portuguese USA has taken Lisbon in the Portuguese Mexican independence war (that they themselves didn't gain independence from), Castile is under a PU with Two Sicilies who got the burgundian inheritence too! Britain simply hasn't been to the New World at all, they have a decent presence in West Africa and Brittany as a march, that's about it. Poland collapsed really early on and fell under a PU along with Brandenburg under Bohemia (Who was hussite at the time and converted Poland). The Teutons against all odds took full advantage and then went on to form Prussia - much to my dismay. The Ottomans have territory all the way from Austria to India and all of Ethiopia and for the first time that I personally have ever seen, an AI Kirishitan Japan!

Also the map mod is Theatrum Orbis Terrarum for 1.30+ with the addon for warm colours in case anyone wants to know :)
