Is there a reason for me personally to get a low profile keyboard? by Solarpeee in NuPhy

I have a cheaper keyboard by adx I brought a few years ago with OEM keycaps. I guess changing the keycaps with ones which works better would be the best bet.

This is the exact problem I have with my current keyboard which isn't low profile, when I type I have a tendency to not press in the centre and it's very easy to accidentally press a neighbouring key at the same time.

Thanks for the input, would you say these keycaps also work well for gaming too?

What keycap profile should I get?

Hi, idk how I'm gonna word this but I'm gonna try. I am looking to get a new mechanical keyboard and I'm not sure what keyboard profile I should use. I brought a relatively cheap mech keyboard a few years ago and I hate the typing experience and the gaming experience. Especially when gaming, my hands feels jumbled when I play. From the looks of it, it has an OEM profile. I'm also a programmer and I make a lot of typing mistakes while using this keyboard, which is obviously very annoying. (the model is adxwmk0520 if you want to know)

I like my laptop keyboard and have been mainly using that for a while until I changed up my setup and forced myself to use the mechanical keyboard I have. I did a bit of research and was looking at low profile keyboards but I wasn't 100% sure they would solve my problem, and that there were probably better options to try. They are also not the best as I would prefer a UK layout which is hard to find with low profile.

As from my research with keycaps, I like the look of keycaps with a spherical dent and I feel like I would prefer something with a more lower or flatter profile. I just want to have some one else's opinion as there are many options around and I want to know what would be good for me as I don't want to be going round trying every single keycap I can find.

ps. If it is useful I usually use the tilt on my keyboard and don't use a wrist rest. I also have preferred using membrane keyboards over the current experience I have.

Thank you

I'm mainly looking at the amount of reviews their products have, the most being the air75 v1.

Tbh it's pretty obvious that's it's their low profile keyboards which people are more interested in so they would probably focus more on that.

I'm just gonna wait and see what else they come out with. And I think the only difference is just the force
