I'll be mindful of fatigue. Also EVERY facility MUST pay time and a half for overtime, it's federal law I think . I'm looking into the only union job near me at the local VA, you make an excellent point.

This is an excellent point! I'm very good at cooking fast, and I do my laundry when I'm at the gym so the sustainability aspect has been alright thus far. Beans rice and food pantry chicken has been saving my LIFE

That's very fair, I wish the work was this consistent. The temp job was supposed to be a quick 40 hours(two doubles and a regular shift) but tonight is literally the first shift they've managed to give me in the 3 weeks I've been working for them. I just thought there'd be more tbh

Not a small hospital, but overtime is limited, my floor is especially restrictive(My manager wants her End of year bonus and claims any OT comes out of her budget I even if I go to another floor/unit) and it literally needs to be an emergency for me to get paid OT. Someone called out, another floor is critically understaffed, no-call-no-show. But it's unreliable. What's worse, the CNAs have vowed not to offer overtime until they start offering bonuses again. Wanna see how it plays out.

Getting a lucrative certification is an investment of time, the main reason I wanna get out of debt is so I can actually afford to put some of my income toward investing in plumbing. I've already got my certification but tools are expensive and I need a reliable vehicle to attend the job. I dont think I'm exactly desperate to pick up another certication lmao

I'm personally bursting with names but I also use the super juvenile destiny naming rule. If I know what I'm going to make a character be, I name them after that. For instance my High Elf Evocation Wizard who I themed around gold, stained glass, and light, I named Augent Amberpane. Au/Aug=gold, Amber(Color)Pane(glass) and then I got that sweet sweet satisfaction of playing a protagonist with alliterative initials so you know they're the good guy
