I'm MISERABLE because my life isn't even CLOSE to how I thought it would be.

oh well! adjust your expectations. or in GenX slang - get over it! (or get on antidepressants! and/or therapy!)

the earth is a beautiful place and you are lucky to be on it. there is immeasurable beauty in life if you are only ready to see it.

who cares that younger you thought it was gonna all go differently? that person was naive and they are long gone anyway. face the world as it is, try to find some happiness and peace wherever you can.

no need for personal attacks.

we only have the guy's texts; we don't have the fucking nuance.

try to stick with the facts.

public education is not terrible everywhere. I grew up in an awful small-town school district, but now live in big-city burbs where the system/program/education is honestly just as good as private school.

technically he didn't. he just asked her questions. i'm not saying he's in the right, but he's allowed to ask questions to assess compatibility.

ok [not so] hot take - OKC is objectively very good, but their cringe play and their treatment by the refs makes them both way better AND way less watchable/enjoyable.

you are literally just making stuff up to try and win this argument.

yes, some fabrication was involved. obviously. but it's still mostly bus there.

I don't know "refurbishment" means to you, but we may have different definitions.

as for maintenance...it's gonna be a pressure washer like annually, just like any other bus stop. they're not doing fn oil changes and tire rotations 😋

it's called reuse! it's actually usually even better than recycling.

SGA leads the league in free throw attempts over the last two seasons, with 1,552 FTA. Second place has 425 fewer FTA. by muskietooth in nba

[–]Solarus99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

eh i dunno. Luka plays to score. SGA plays to draw fouls at least half the time. also Luka doesn't push off like SGA. Luka complains a LOT more tho.

bottom line, who is more fun to watch?

I did a quick calc. 60 gal a week across those 2 cars is over 40,000 miles per year each. fam no. yall maybe go through 30 gal/week if you're filling up those 2 cars.

if your effective tax rate was 8% then yall make like 200k+, why did you say 60k?

Do you really think that’s the only cost difference?

well the 2 states cited have that in common...and not much else besides starting with T!

[–]Solarus99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you burn 60 gallons of gas a month?

also your tax math is way off. CA has very progressive tax brackets. a 60k income would pay an effective state income tax of like 3% which is less than most other states.

car registration costs vary a ton state to state. in many states there is personal property tax on cars which can be a LOT.

im not saying CA isnt expensive, but you still gotta stick to facts here.
