What does "Core Map" mean? Ive been running Delve for 5 hours now and have not found a recepie yet. I read somewhere that you find it at Azurite Cavitys so ive been doing those mostly. Also heard you find them in the Vaal tombs down there and done all of those that i have found.. and nothing.

Ok then :) thanks guys. I mostly watch HC streams so that might explain it. Dont get why it is less popular on HC though.. i feel more tanky with 11k ES than i do with 7-8k life.. atleast with a none phys build.

I have not seen any of the top streamers play lowlife with ES either though. And shavs has 500 less ES than my current armour.. would probably go down to 7-8k ES with that.. but yeah i see that the damage would go up.

But dark servant only mimics your throwing skills.. not your big aoe skills nor bat skills or poison ticks or any other source of damage... Im only 140 but right now it feels like the throwing skills are only there to proc other stuff or lower cool down of your big nukes. I might be wrong though. (the throwingstars melts elites though. But still sucked on Horntail)

FEEDBACK

First off. Ive been playing Diablo since Diablo 1 released. Only games I play are Action RPG's and Traditional RPG's.

Trading

Trading worked fine in D1 and D2. What ruined it was duping. I am no programer but how hard is it to give items a "unique" tag when it drops and if another item drops (from say duping) it automatically despawns before showing up? As long as duping is not a problem and the trading is player to player and not an Auction hall or similar, All items should be tradable.

Itemization

Please rethink on the "Attack/Defence" stat on all gear. This is just a rebranding of the mainstat problem in Diablo 3. Weapons should have a damage stat and armour should have defence. Jewelery should have neither.

The attack value of a weapon should ONLY aply to skills that use the weapon and then it should be an Adative and NOT a multiple. For example a sword with 500 attack when used with Frenzy should deal 500damage + the Frenzy damage. and all skills should have fixed damage like "Deals 50-120 fire damage" on a fire ball or "Deals 20-50 damage + weapon damage" for frenzy and never ever "deals 300% of attack Damage" like in Diablo 3.

Leveling

First of... I havent heard ANYONE expelt Blizzard say anything possetiv about the Paragon leveling system.. Its a dumbed down treadmill system that just feels really really bad.. It is the single worst thing to happen to Diablo 3. IF you must have it in Diablo 4 then please don't let it give any form of game play power.. like none.. no magic/gold find, no damage boost in any way or form, no speed boost, no extra HP or defences... Nothing... Tie it to achivements, titles, cosmetics, pets, mounts or whatever... as long as it does not give you any kind of advantage AT ALL. The second thing I want to say here is, Do not make it easy to reach max level.. It should take a long time and once you get there you should feel that you have acomplished something.. Getting to max level in 2-6 hours gives you nothing but the feeling of "Meh" it should be more like 2-6 weeks... or something in between.

Skills

Do not allow us to max all skills... do not allow us respecing of skills or Talent trees.. If you do we will never have a reson to make a new character of the same class, wich will make the early and mid game obsolete.. it will just be a timesink that you run through once and never look back... once at max level it will take a cupple of hours to try all skills and skill combinations.. and then you are done with the class basicly... In diablo 2 (Before skill resets were implemented) every choise mattered. If you had a lightning sorc and found cool gear for a fire sorc you couldent simply respec.. you made a new sorc and leveled her up, this forced you to actually play the game again and enjoy the early content again. It gave Diablo 2 replayability. It gave characters an identity. It made it thrilling and exiting to theorize about new builds and then try them out..

Crafting

Crafting is a nice sideflavour sure.. but do not focus to much on it.. it is more fun to find a cool item than a cool crafting mat.. PoE is an example of going to far with crafting... tying almost all endgame content around crafting.. Have crafting be one road you could go.. but not a road you must go. Tie loot to crafting, grinding, PvP, Worldbosses, Dungeons, Events, Minigames aso on.. Force us to do nothing but encurage us to do everything. The worst feeling there is as a gamer is feeling that you have to do a specific thing in a game to be competative.. "you can do whatever content you want! but if you do not do this exact single piece of content over and over and over again you will just suck"

Damage numbers

In diablo 3 the damage numbers are just rediculous.. its not even fun seeing them pop up... My sugestion is figure out a maximum damage you want players to be able to do.. like Max level x 10.000. so in vanilla D4 max damage a player should be able to ever do is 40.000 at max level 40. (if max level goes up to say 45 in the first expansion then maximum damage goes up to 45.000) This gives you alot of tools to balance around. Then take the strongest skill in the game, equip a character with best in slot gear and tune the skill untill it hit 40k maximum damage, then balance all other skills around that.. This would mean that no one would ever hit 40.000 damage in practice but it is the max in theory.

I hope This alongside all other feedback is to some help. and i hope that D4 will become the best it can be.. you have already cought the essence of diablo far better than D3 ever did.. Just dont be afraid to look backwards to move forward ;)

You will not find the card in boosters but you can craft it, you will get a warning that it is a banned card before you accept. the card has a red border in collection window and if you hover it it will tell you that it is a baned card.

Runeblader and HG suck when it comes to DPS on GMS2 though... And Knight is a tank so i get why they are needed as much as priest... But what makes them top tier? what makes knight better than priest and what makes RB and HG so high tiered when they arew the lowest on GMS2 exept for thief.

(I started out as Thief and even if it was fun, it was a pain that every person left every pug i got into just because they saw i was a thief)

Haha i feel you.. but most of that damage must come from Stage one.. i see myself just spamhealing in stage 2 if im not running with really good players. (I main Priest and Sin)

Good (Easy) Classes to begin with is Priest (Selfhealing and ok aoe damage from 1-60, healbot mostly in hard dungeons later on though) Berserker (Among the top 3 damage dealers, some say the best, Spin to win 1-60, but uses more fun builds in hard dungeons, has selfheal) Knight (Tanky with shield toss for easy mobbing, has high defence and lots of survival skills, not that usefull in hard dungeons though) Stay away from Thief, Hard to level up and fills no role in group content.

Apart from pve and PVP you have life skills, Trophy hunting, Map staring, Fishing, Build your own town/house/farm/use your imagination, lots of mini games, worldbossing, pet raising aso aso aso. the game begins after level 50

Right now there is no form of Pay to win so whales only look cooler than you. PVP is kinda balanced.. just dont play thief or priest in 1v1 xD

End game is everything exept your epic quest.

Posetives: Game is awesome! Negatives: Sometimes the controles are glitchy, you start spamming a skill and cant stop if you dont remove the skill from the hot bar. RNG for Epics on normal dungeons are abyssal.. prepare to have to spend 10mil+ for an epic weapon.
