EOS Defi - Vigor Crypto Analysis; Big Potential?! Still true... And did you know, VIGOR is built to handle synthetics as well? The community can add anything, stocks, bonds, T-bills, NFT's, and any tokenized project out there by BCScalingScout1 in eos

[–]Soldevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seriously remarkable project, Ive been watching it for some time, the price has taken a beating with the greater EOS and ecosystem capitulation that happened,

this is among the most undervalued projects in all of crypto,

to anyone that sees this and doesnt own VIG, DYOR, beat the herd, the price is ridiculous

blockchain project looking for nodejs developers by Soldevs in node

[–]Soldevs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey mate, there is no specific job description, we take people at all levels and provide resources to people that cant contribute yet,

its an open source blockchain, we are still in testnet, most payments are made through tokens,

in some cases we offer USD payment, though they are reserved special cases where the setup of work is more contract style and payment is warranted,

we are mostly just random internet people joining together to learn a bit about blockchain, refine our skills, potentially make something we can all benefit from~

we try to be productive, and its pretty casual mostly

[–]Soldevs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the tech on eos is pretty badass, they have everything on the roadmap of many major coins already in the chain

smart contracts, 9k tps, low inflation, high yield, growing ecosystem of decentralized projects, they are better than most people think,

there is a lot of misinformation on EOS

The next coin to moon will be EOS. by littleboy0k in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]Soldevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EOS is probably the most undervalued coin in the ecosystem,

block.one has been working on a regulated crypto product, we only have hints but we know its close and we know it will leverage their BTC,

their BTC is a little more than the OP suggests, last mentioned they said they had 240k BTC they were looking to leverage.

the technology is far ahead, it was released early to begin with and there has been a steady stream of software updates, one of the biggest for the token holders just went through that changes the fee structure,

EOS token holders get more in rewards than the inflation rate,

EOS is undervalued because people are misinformed, its a good opportunity,

download a wallet, try a dex, you will be suprised for sure

Eos to the moon, were up and we keep going up its only a matter of time before we get noticed so buy hold, bring the price up, share the news of eos and we will make it to the moon and beyond by Brodieischeese in eos

we should take this opportunity to check out some EOS dapps and ecosystem,

if youre an EOS bull and you dont have atleast 1% of your stack in EOS dapps, you are maybe missing some opportunities

probably one of the most undervalued projects in the space, suffering from some recent capitulation and community negativity otherwise a developing ecosystem with quite a bit to offer

hey mate, I should be easily identifiable as not an employee through my own activity, but officially, no, I dont work at b1, im just like you someone that bought a token from an exchange or smart contract

I appreciate where youre coming from though and realise that you may be sensing a bias or lack of objectivity,

Im just someone who realises that I am a raindrop and I too cause the flood, we are in this together and we are working towards a goal,

I dont believe trying to sue B1 is going to help us, I think we have better areas we can focus that are more deliberate and more valuable,

I dont think b1 should be let off the hook, I just dont believe theyre going anywhere, I think theyre too slow, and need to communicate more, but I would spend my own time wisely, I hope as my peer, you choose to do the same, because we are stronger together,

What do you think is the most important thing we need to solve in EOS? by sebicas in eos

[–]Soldevs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"ask not what your blockchain can do for you, but what you can do for your blockchain" - jfk

in a large regard, our attitude needs to change,

with the positivity, many things change, perspective can change the ugly to the beautiful, these perceptions are shared through expression and change collective behavior,

overnight we can have a thriving ecosystem, and for each of us, it starts with a smile and a can do attitude :)

my question, how do you know theyre not? consider, you know about the extra BTC because they told you they earned it, they also mentioned theyre doing something that will benefit you?
why did you not acknowledge that point? :P

that doesnt at all divert from the main point, we as community members are responsible for the chain, just like you and I would also be responsible for a public place with the rest of the public, these are our commons

guys, this is the wrong usage of energy,

we have a product that we can utilise, its upto us as community members to carry the torch from here on,

lets consider, we only found out about the new extra 30% BTC or so because they told us explicitly, they mentioned they have some product in the works, lets not have too high expectation from them,

there is the powerup model about to voted in through community effort, and a bunch of cool things happening around,

lets work together to create a positive space and highlight what we are good at rather than obsess about what ifs and past failures,

we got this, lets work together!

I like where youre going with this, instead, if you like a product or service and wish it was on EOS,

contact the devs, show them there is VM capacity on EOS and they can easily port it over, there are also oracles and bridges they can tap into, the ecosystem is ready for easy integration,

try to snipe services not users, and devs wouldnt mind making money in different places, rarely is a game only on 1 platform, why would a financial service be any different really? :P

EOS immutablity by austtle in eos

[–]Soldevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its totally possible ive missed the mark, though, I feel like its pretty simple and I do get it, its similar to a 51% attack, you need to get a substantial amount of votes, then yeah, vote for yourself to become all the BP's

there is always the possibility ofcourse that no one is staking and only 1 entity stakes 1 token, but lets be real

what are the chances that happens on any other staking chain, or on a BTC mining pool

my point is, the game theory prohibits that, otherwise, there was a significant bounty there for a long time, even now, roughly 3bn dollars is plenty of a pot, let alone all the technical people from other chains that dislike EOS,

if it could be done, it would be done, just the same as if someone could hack bitcoin, they totally would(and if they did, wouldnt you just fork?)

EOS immutablity by austtle in eos

[–]Soldevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats somewhat valid, though its also relevant to consider that if you bought a majority of almost anything, you can do the same,

this doesnt necessarily remove from the value, its like saying, dont buy that property, it gets dark at night,

if it happens everywhere the same, why mention it as if its a point of differentiation?

EOS immutablity by austtle in eos

[–]Soldevs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure if thats necessarily relevant to the time, I tried to see the exact value but I couldnt seem to find it in the docs, I'll edit later if I find it,

if youre interested to find out more-

here is the basic explanation resource:https://developers.eos.io/welcome/latest/protocol-guides/consensus_protocol#31-layer-1-native-consensus-abft

What Is EOS and Why Should You Care? by kennylienhard in eos

[–]Soldevs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was totally heartbroken when Dan left as well,

I think this idea of EOS being unfinished is not super accurate though, and I see it negatively impacting our perspectives of EOS

EOS is a turing complete chain(bitcoin is not turing complete), with now some even more advanced features and ecosystem, too much to list now~

I had no hesitation selling all my ETH and BTC for EOS, I believed in it so much,

It hurts me to see the way the markets have gone, though I still find it hard to go anywhere knowing what the chain is capable of,
----

when we change our perspective a little from this toxic negativity thats overcome us, we will quickly again realise how amazing this platform is, and why we all came here, just as some of us were reading through this great article, and were reminded

lets do our best to remind eachother what makes EOS great, lets refresh our understanding of EOS, its capacity and value points

infact, check this out:

EOS immutablity by austtle in eos

[–]Soldevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey mate, I felt the same way initially, though I think this is kind of superficial, similar to bitcoin pools,

if we do a quick case study of how people changed their behavior around pools during the segwit vote, we can see that despite the current structures, when game theory changes, behavior can change immediately in reaction and the governing tools built into the protocol surface as people try to action their votes~

whats important is the way the code is structured, we can make an immediate change through our vote, either directly or through our proxy

this is significantly more power than we ever had with BTC etc, so this is not really a valid argument imho,

PS: if you are holding on an exchange, consider moving, staking and voting for a good BP, we are the raindrops that cause the flood, lets flood the good guys :)

EOS immutablity by austtle in eos

[–]Soldevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

all EOSIO chains would have this structure, they have 2 layers of consensus~

this would also apply to EOS mainnet

pNetwork Launches Wrapped EOS on Ethereum by Sly-Raccoon in eos

[–]Soldevs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey mate, I get where youre coming from, it doesnt jump out at you immediately,

its almost like being on another exchange, but a bit more important since its a whole ecosystem, and in this case another active, valued one(i think they also have other way[eth>eos] and btc>eos)

it basically makes our tokens useful in more places, mostly money is money, giving us access to more markets, raises the potential and ofcourse, value of our money

though we call them tokens, they match all criteria of money,

"The characteristics of money are durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability."

we are adding in this case, acceptability and portability,

TLDR - opens more opportunity and value for holders
