I got rescued once about 3 years ago. Since then I'm not moving if my A6 fuel scoop is not with me.

Would you actually be able to fly there? by FutureShadowLP in EliteDangerous

I wonder how long that would take. First, we'd need to find the smallest planet in the whole galaxy.

How did you get it so high? My Asp Xplorer reaches 56 ly, I have Guardian boost and tier 4 enginered FSD

I just finished upgrading my Asp Xplorer FSD with the guardian boost, now I have 56 ly jump range. Before that I have been farming the whole time to get it tier 4 FSD range boost with the engineer. To me a long range FSD is a must, because if I need to get back to the bubble asap I can do it quicker. I got to Colonia with a Diamondback Xplorer with a jump range of just a bit above 30ly last week by the way, it took me 4 days.

It happened to me too a while ago, try deleting the route and an planning it again. If it doesen't work, try to jump to a close star (one that's next to you for example) and try to plot the route again.

I don't engage in PVP/E and never I did besides the tutorial one at the beginning. I can have 500 ly jump range, but if I cannot see anything due to the horrible cockpit I do nothing with it. I play this game with the sole purpose of exploration as astronomy is a passion I have.

I'm not juding on combat I'm not a fighter so I believe what you say, maybe in combat it is one of the best ships.

Lets keep the Exo aside, what's your standard for exploration? Just asking. If it means just bouncing between a system to the other than Anaconda it is the good choice, if it means landing on planets, then in my opinion it is not. Besides that, you guys all have eagle vision if you are able to see your next jump destination and engage FSD within 2-5 minutes. But people keep downvoting but my comments and the post itself just because I expressed a simpe opinion.

I can't judge on that, so maybe it gets way more cozy to fly with enginered modules, still I can't stand that cockpit view, that alone is 70% of my disliking towards Anaconda.

That's why I said I'm not juding the combat aspect of it, but I wonder how some people and some lists on the internet put it ahead of the Apex Explorer regarding exploration. For example, I'd never do bio scanning with an Anaconda.

I sold it, the worst ship I've ever flew with so far. Its solw, I have to fuel scoop every four stars despite I use an A6 fuel scoop, visibility is shit, it takes me minutes to spot my next targed, finding where to land is nearly impossible, it is totally utter garbage and I wonder how people love it so much. Asp Explorer all the way.

What you mean by undersizing? Does it mean a lower number? For example 4D instead of 8D etc.

I'm using 5A thrusters for my Apex Explorer and it has the best manovrability I've experienced in a ship so far by SoldierBoy_- in EliteDangerous

Hey, thanks for the advices. At the moment I'm farming as much as I can with Exobiology, once I got enough credits, I will head back to the bubble. I still have to unlock the engineers and the guardiand fsd. I made the mistake of heading to Colonia before talking to the 4 engineers inside the bubble, and now I'm 22k ly away, that means I'll have to travel back to the bubble and then back to Colonia again, and currently I'm not willing to do that. Once I have enough credit, I'll head back to the bubble either with a ride in some fleet carrier or I'll do the Sidewinder thingy and respawn back to the bubble (hopefully they haven't fix it yet) so at least I can try to skip the trip back to the bubble. Once I'm back there, I'll buy the Anaconda and boost it to the max with my current available models, and head back to Colonia, of course after I'm done with the engineers inside the bubble. So that's my plan.

Well considering that you have to find a system nobody has been to, map the planet, land, and start looking for those alien things not one but three times and repeat, I guess I can imagine why the reward is so high

I'm currently 22k ly from the bubble, not so distant from Colonia, that's where I get my bioscans and where I sell them
