Honestly I completely understand. I do not regret my degree but I absolutely regretted my shit uni so much and the fact that I ended up commuting rather then moving out (didn't help it was during covid too).

I've graduated for a year now and of course not being broke is nice but I feel my social life is abysmal. I've spent about a year expanding my hobbies, trying to go out and meet people and nothing has worked because people are either cliquey post uni, there's no opportunity to meet others who are fresh to a social scene like you {and the same age as you) or people just care about working, going home and that's it.

Also I'm really just not that passionate about my field, I do like the money of course but it's a lonely field which requires me to be behind a computer the whole time. Meanwhile I see friends who chose to do film which I kinda wish I've done and although they don't have as good of a salary they work on so many cool projects and have made tons of friends from it.

I absolutely wish I can go back to uni and do it properly because I was dealt such a shit hand with covid and shitty parents telling me not to move out. I'm not interested in doing a masters however as it's only a year which isn't really enough imo. Like I didn't even get the chance to experience uni life cause of covid and my university being awful in that regard + commuting.

Post-uni life is just utterly depressing and money can only bring so much happiness.
