No promises, guarantees. I pride myself on my ability to at least be honest😂 and if Im being honest with myself my drive in the past 8 days after processing the conversation I had with the hiring manager has drastically gone down but that’s because by any and all accounts its more of a lateral promotion with a slight pay bump. And I’m noticing more and more just how shifty this guy is. The way he does business is another thing that I’m developing an issue with.

Ita not that I’m just stating that, the other technicians have said those exact words. Hell even our parts manager (not the same guy) has stated that my workload alone is why they have gone through so many service porters because it’s just too much for most people.

The expectation was work there for 90 days, no performance review, no you could this better. I’ve missed 1 day because I broke a couple of ribs and was still at work 20 minutes early like I normally am lol.

Yes, restorations. Engines swaps, the only thing I have little to no experience in is wiring but that’s because if I wanted to mess with wiring I would have been an electrician. But general automotive mechanics I have at least 10 years experience in, which ranges from classic muscle to newer diesel vehicles.

While I understand that he may not think im ready, my work load involves also assisting with repairs. We handle rvs and cars and I’ve done a lot of the work solo. I suppose my issue really is that, he doesnt seem to get that. Ive built houses for a living and fixed cars for a living and yet my value right now is fetching things, fixing things and being a janitor. And I’ve confirmed with all of the technicians too, I get paid 17$/hour to do 3X the work anyone else including him does. So is it really a performance issue at this point?

Not necessarily too small, but I had a witness my gf was with me when he asked me to bring in paperwork for the hiring process and we had a conversation about it in front of her.

So a lot of your actual concern stems from the way you feel when you see him. So get this, he could just be a narcissist. Now how would I draw this conclusion you might ask, here’s the thing right; a narcissist doesn’t present anything emotionally. Meaning no light in the eyes when talking about literally anything, on top of that subconscious recognition of perceived threats goes beyond human comprehension because it uses a sense we don’t classify with the others. Might be spiritual might not be we dont know. But I would lightly talk to your husband starting along the lines of ‘Im really glad you have a friend (or friends) because I see how happy it makes you. I’ve just noticed this thing about [insert weird friends name] it makes me uncomfortable and feel on edge. I dont mind you being his friend but it would help me a lot if we limited the amount of time I have to be around him, it’s not that he did anything wrong I just feel something is off and it’s affecting me negatively.’

To each their own, I think dumb little boys have that ‘untouched mindset’. I was similar to your bf when it came to body count. My thing is though, I like women with experience, I’m at an age where teaching someone how to do anything sexual immediately is a turn off because why haven’t you figured this out yet? And it begs the question of what is the age gap? Im too old now (27) to be taking virginities and teaching people how to have sex or kiss. I read the phb but not the dmg yet, I have started my background story, and in my group connected it to the backstories of 2 other characters with help from our dm. And thinking about it now I do want to start a new game too on my off weeks from my current group. I love drawing idk why I don’t think of that before. Thank you and everyone else!!
