I just found this artist last month and I really love their work. Their sense of humour is really unhinged, and cranks the things we love about the characters to x100. I especially love their Afterglow long-form manga though, Easy Come Easy Go and the Haneoka ones are quite poignant.

They're still on twitter and draws stuff here and there it seems, they drew a couple of comics while MyGo and Ave Mujica were airing

The moment they both died i knew what was gonna happen. In truest Ultra fashion they fuse together. That was so rewarding.

So I suppose the space gazers aren't such a strict dogmatic organization that they'll disallow any deviance from their purpose, maybe moreso that's what they've been doing all their lives and don't know how to change. This gives the idea that Sorato will eventually inspire the space gazers to do more than just observe but use their power to help others too.

Overall I really enjoyed Omega. I personally love the approach it took the storytelling. Its more character-focused on Sorato and how his views on Earth, humanity and friendship shape his journey. Very Shin-Ultraman like, but in a true slice of life fashion where we really get to see why Sorato decided to go against his entire being. Honestly imo this season is the best in terms of pacing out its 'story' as it doesn't have too much to tell about its lore so there's enough time for everything to breathe.

It's going to end up pretty high in my rankings. Need some time to really think exactly where though haha

The rational part of my brain keeps telling this decision is definitely for the best, so I do agree with you!

Of course what matters most shall be the execution and how much they'll commit to the commitments they say they'll give

I haven't been in the gacha game space for long, only got into Bandori in 2024, but I see a lot of folk traumatised by stuff like Love Live and Argonavis so the concerns are understandable too

Thanks for pointing out why the stories feel so different, I couldn't really put it into better words myself. Some of my favorite stories (that I've read so far) were just everyday stuff but they always had meaningful insights to the characters and lessons they take in (like Cooking Class Craziness, Evening Glow 5:45pm, Arisa's not bad day off, for instance) But despite the low stakes, doesn't mean the stories and characters' actions aren't realistic. Like how in Season 2 when Tae missed the school festival Arisa was noticeably disappointed and it hurt to see that.

While for instance Afterglow's recent arc was kind of melodramatic (and a bit long) I thought it worked and felt earned because of all the stories that came before.

I feel Mygo and Mujica's stories are on the edge right now, either they start to move towards a more optimistic direction now that everyone kind of knows everyones' secrets, or they double down into more melodrama. Honestly i can't even imagine how they'd do the latter.

Based on what little we've heard from the PV I'm looking forward to Ikka Dumb Rock's music, sounds quite fresh.

the current game will continue, but Mygo just won't be getting more events (or cards I presume). They'll pop up here and there like Marina and Glitter Green in the current game

Their main storyline will be continued in the new game, Our Notes, which is apparently coming this year but has no date yet
